I like how the exercises are varied, there are lots of visual cues to help you, and the video clips at the end give you a sense of how real people's pronunciation. There's also the option to drop the characters and stick with pin yin for a less intense mode of studying. Only thing I miss is the variety of voice-over voices, would be helpful to hear both male and female voices. The default one is very baby-ish.
Just great
Good app but the sound doesn’t work on the listening exercises and when I try to report it the app freezes and I have to start the whole lessen over! Really annoying but hopefully they fix that soon.
As good as lingodeer but free
I have used this app for over a year and have greatly enjoyed it and marvelled at how well designed the lessons were. Making learning Chineses very intuitive. After the update it is a mainstream jumble with no regard to the learning process. This app has gone from 5 star to 1 star with one update.

This is actually the best language app, I’ve ever seen. Also the reminders is not as annoying as on other apps! I really recommend it. Not to mention it’s free
