You invest a virtual currency called chips into local restaurants and bars. Each chip you add boosts that place’s total, pushing it higher on leaderboards in its category. The more you invest, the more your personal value in that spot grows—unlocking perks like the Chipbowl, local leaderboards, and exclusive rewards for top supporters. Your value also rises when others invest in the same place, so backing a hotspot early can pay off. Want access to a members-only happy hour for the top 5 investors? Keep stacking chips in your favorite spot. Unlike review apps where you just leave a rating and move on, Chips keeps you connected. It rewards you for supporting places you love, while giving restaurants and bars a direct way to give back to their biggest fans. With only so many chips to spend, you’ll need to decide which spots matter most to you.
