Chirp Audiobooks

I have really loved this app and the book selection. The only issue I have is the app takes the book you’re listening to back to the beginning after you shut the app. I have shut my phone off. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app. I put my phone in airplane mode to see if it would help. Still 99% of the time the book goes back to the beginning. I have got where I take pictures of the chapter so I can go back to that chapter.

I buy from Chirp regularly. The one thing I wish they’d do, though, is say how long the audiobook is in their daily newsletter. I only download stories that are less than 6 hours.

I love this book, and it was wonderful to go about my day, doing my tasks while listening to a narration of it. The accent and the changes in voice, added to the enjoyment and appreciation of it. I will definitely listen every year, and let it be said that I keep Christmas well.

The deals on the books are fantastic. I love getting my audio books for a few dollars a piece. The app, however, randomly restarts the book back to chapter 1. That is extremely frustrating. Its intermittent. So sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn’t. But I have to remember where I am at all the time in case it does. It’s annoying.

Because you wouldn’t take my Apple card to buy the book I wanted, and because looking at the free audiobooks made the algorithm think I’m interested in romance novels—you’re deleted.

I love Chirp. It’s a great way to buy audiobooks you think you’ll like but aren’t sure so are wary about pay a lot. Prices range widely — when I decide I need more to listen to, I usually see several (okay, like maybe 10) that look promising or that I’ve always had on my mental list at ridiculously good prices, treat myself, and have a stash to dip into whenever. This includes both classics and best-sellers for a couple dollars apiece. It’s insane. You won’t always find a specific book on sale but you’ll always find ones you want on sale. It’s VERY fun to browse and the app is easy to use. Other Chirp customers provide book reviews but if I want more info I check on other book review sites but come back to Chirp to buy. Finding Chirp (when I Googled where buy affordable audiobooks) was a very happy moment for this avid reader/listener and the shopping experience did not disappoint!:)

Best audible book system I’ve found yet. The prices are the best I’ve found as well.

This is a book store. Don’t be fooled by the No Subscription Required line on the AppStore.

Mostly spicy read. Story line really starts picking up and the book ends. I feel like this is part of a book that has been broken into sections and sold as separate novels. Still worth the read unless cliffhangers frustrate you.
