Chirp Audiobooks

If you want an audiobook app with a cupboard sized library/database, chirp is your thing! Searched for random big names off top of head: Clive Cussler, Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Steven King, THE FREAKIN BIBLE… It only had one title. Elon Musk biography. 🤡🌎 Not into Steven King novels, but I figure he’s big enough that a bookshop is bound to have them. Nope! HOPELESS. Back to Apple Books I suppose!

Thanks a lot. The new update requires IOS 16 or later, and my iPad will only update to IOS 15.8.3. This means I will be unable to listen to all the books I have bought, and will even be unable to listen to the end of my current book. I am not happy. Maple Tree 43 And another thing. I have tried 9 nicknames and it keeps telling me « That nickname is taken. Try another. «

Very good deals and easy to navigate.

I have enjoyed listening to the books I have bought on Chirp. It has good choices on books on your interests. However, I have had many problems with the App which has made the experience of listening to audiobooks less enjoyable.

Great deals and great service

I can’t tell if this is any good. Every time I go back to it it starts at the beginning and it is very difficult to fast toward. Sorry

I like Chirp, and they do offer some good deals on certain audiobooks. However, the biggest feature missing from the app is the ability to search for available audiobooks and play previews. Chirp could be made similar to the Google Play Books app which has both the search and play previews. You can still leave the purchase of audiobooks to be via the website, and hence avoiding the Apple 30% charge for allowing purchase inside the app. Unless, I’m missing something? Thanks

I bought a book and it started downloading @ 12:26. I started listening to it at 15:30, the book still showed as downloading. At 15:45 it stopped as no access to cell service. I was near the US border for part of the downloading & I figure the tracking info your app has did not allow me to download the book from a different country. I am using Chirp as I had download issues with Scribd. In fact I discontinued scribd as it was ridiculous. Now I will only listen to the books I bought & stop using chirp. Btw A LOT of your catalogue is not available in Canada.

Chirp is easy to use, has a broad range of books and has affordable prices. I have used the Chirp app regularly for almost a year and I love the convenience of quick downloads and endless entertainment.

So many good books for great prices and no monthly membership fees! My favourite audiobook app by far!
