Zwitschern! ist die originale und am meisten verkaufte Vogelgesang-App. Sie umfasst über 260 Vögelgezwitscher, jedes bis zu 40 Sekunden lang.

Das Identifizieren und Lernen von Vogelstimmen kann schwierig sein, aber nicht mit Zwitschern! Für jeden Vogelruf stehen eine kurze Beschreibung, hilfreiche Tipps sowie ein Foto des entsprechenden Vogels zur Verfügung. Für viele der Klänge besteht auch eine "menschliche Übersetzung", die verdeutlichen soll, was der Vogel mit diesem Klang kommunizieren will.

Nach dem Hören können Sie mit unserem Quiz Ihr Gedächtnis testen. Für schnelle Antworten gibt es eine vielfache Punktzahl, die Sie in die Highscore-Listen bringt. Für erfahrene Vogelbeobachter existiert auch ein maßgeschneidertes Quiz, welches Ihnen besonders ähnliche Vogelstimmen näher bringt. Die Diashow aller Vögel ist herrlich entspannend. Dazu können Sie auch den Begleitkommentar einschalten und versuchen, den Namen des abgebildeten Vogels früher als der Kommentator zu nennen. Dies ist auch ein tolles Spiel für die ganze Familie - wem fällt der Vogelname zuerst ein?

Die App bietet viele unterschiedliche Arten, die Vogelstimmen zu sortieren. Sie können die Liste zum Beispiel nach Häufigkeit anordnen lassen, um zuerst die weiter verbreiteten Vogelstimmen zu hören und sich dann zu den selteneren vorzutasten. Oder Sie sortieren nach den verschiedenen Stilen des Vogelrufs und können so Vögel, die eher gurren, mit solchen mit eher hellen Stimmen vergleichen. Auch nach Habitat und nach Vogelgruppe kann sortiert werden.

App wäre toll aber tatsächlich sind die Namen immer und ausschliesslich englisch auch wenn das phone auf DE eingestellt ist und alles ausser den Namen auf DE kommt. Vielleicht kann der Entwickler erklären wie man das umstellt. Über die Optionen und das Menu geht’s jedenfalls nicht!!!!
