I downloaded this app a year ago and was disappointed w/ the bugs in highlighting. I re-downloaded this app a week ago and found out a lot of changes. It went from meh to wow. Enjoying iap premium right now. Great job!
The best chm reader in appstore!
I'm a medical student and chmate makes it to my top list of must-have apps in med school. Works like a charm. Sleek and fast including its search whole document function. I 100% recommend this app to med students, residents, and consultants and also other medical related field. It just feels like the med library's in your hands with all the chm ebooks stored in chmate!

Highlights disappeared
I agree that CHMate is the best CHM reader for iPad thus far. Highlighting is extremely important for me and I am happy that CHMate has highlighting options. However, it really needs some fine-tuning. As mentioned in a previous review, sometimes pressing on some words for highlighting selects a different paragraph altogether. Also, some of my highlights simply disappeared when I switched chapters. Please do fix this! It's the only thing keeping me from buying the full version.
highlighting is buggy
It renders any chm file well and navigation is a breeze. My only main gripe is that highlighting is buggy. Some highlights won't save or render. Some become linked to different words in the book and the highlight list needs more organization (grouping highlights per chapter, etc). An option to search the whole book would also be a plus. Overall a good app.
