## ChowNow Reviews in United States

### **--- "Moe"
Slow app - driver makes few stop before coming to you
-- kontaktmamadu, 2025-01-02

### ***** "NPL orders"
Just started using ChowNow for NPL orders. Smooth, easy to understand and complete.😋

### *---- "Epic fail."
The app seems well designed, except for the most important part. It automatically cancelled my order “because we didn’t want to keep you waiting” 10 mins in. The restaurant I was attempting to order from was very busy and I was ok waiting. I wasn’t asked if I wanted to cancel, the app just did it. So instead of saving me time, it added 30 mins of wasted time to my morning. Don’t bother with this app.

### *---- "Just Uber behind the scenes"
We started using Chownow to more directly support local restaurants. Turns out, when you order from Chownow, they just proxy it to Uber. So you're paying more, not supporting the restaurant, and getting shuffled around while the order is delayed. If there's a problem with your order they can't help or offer refunds either. Just call the restaurant and order pickup.

### *---- "Drivers cancel orders frequently"
Drivers cancel orders frequently and dont provide updates. Food ia often delayed as a result. I would use other apps if i had known ahead of time.

### *---- "Not worth it"
I recently used this app to order some food from a local business. I thought the concept of this app would be amazing and as a person in the industry putting more money back in the pocket sounds amazing. However when my food got to me from the restaurant it was wrong and cold. When I contacted the customer support through the app to let them know and I quite about a refund this is where I would never recommend this app. They asked for proof that my order was wrong like a picture. I sent a picture proving my food was wrong. Can’t really convey the coldness of the food via pic but our food was also cold. The customer service rep told me they would contact the restaurant to let them know and ask for a refund. They get back to me and said because the restaurant said no to the refund there was nothing they could do. That if I wanted a refund I would have to leave my house take my food to the store to prove AGAIN that the food was wrong and cold and they might give it to me. The whole purpose of using an app for delivery is to NOT leave the house. Furthermore if the restaurant says no to a refund this app will do nothing. After I contacted the restaurant to go over this they told me ok we will give me a refund for my order but I had to contact the app again. This is beyond frustrating. I did contact them again and in the end I only was given $28 out of the $70 I spent. I will tell everyone I know to never use this app. In theory sounds like a great app but in the end it’s trash.

### *---- "Do NOT use this service!"
I never got my food. I let the driver into the gate, I gave DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS on how to get to my apartment building in my complex (mind you, it’s not hard to find AT ALL) but I never saw him pull up to my building. Sure did see him drive away though. I have no idea where my food is. I don’t know if he kept it, if he delivered it to the wrong door or what. Customer service said they were going to give me a refund. We’ll see if that happens. I ordered it one more time. We’ll see if it ACTUALLY gets delivered this time. 10/10 do not recommend.

### ***** "New Chow Now User"
First time using Chow Now App. Seems user friendly. Wish there was pictures of dishes to order.
-- Anletay, 2024-12-14

### *---- "App no good"
Bought from the website, worked great. Get a bunch of email "download our app". App doesn't have the restaurant.
-- _ŒÂ◊, 2024-12-12

### *---- "Scam!!!"
This apps add extra service fee even if you pick up item. Don't recommend, you will pay more using this app, it’s better if you just call or order thru there online ordering if available. I got scam that’s my fault for not reading reviews or paying attention to checkout.
