Included by default are the three ancient creeds (the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed); the 'Three Forms of Unity' (the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort); and the Westminster Standards (the Westminster Confession and the Shorter and Larger Catechisms.) Many additional documents may be downloaded from within the application, including a number from non-Reformed traditions. Any scripture references provided in the original document are hyperlinked and may be viewed within the app itself (KJV), or by linking to a user-specified native bible app or external web site. A full-text search capability (with editable search history) allows you to instantly find words, phrases and scripture references within a single document or across the entire library. This application will help anyone better understand and appreciate the depth and richness of the Christian faith as it has been historically understood. ## Christian Creeds & Confessions Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/88/23/6d/88236d5e-e611-47f0-b90a-05dd552fcfda/mzl.clatdijr.png/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/ad/1d/29/ad1d29a9-bf3d-ee3a-59b5-1429f39167cd/mzl.kofefioc.png/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/6e/29/20/6e292051-b806-8aa3-b8cc-70c14ed68293/mzl.dmjswmpb.png/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/16/81/02/168102db-4b10-c118-41d3-fa1066502bb5/mzl.ahihfgup.png/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/a6/31/27/a6312758-61ec-9fee-1133-632310eb00a0/mzl.bjbmttmi.png/640x960.png) ## Christian Creeds & Confessions Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 67 (80%) - 4 stars: 4 (5%) - 3 stars: 6 (7%) - 2 stars: 4 (5%) - 1 stars: 3 (4%) ## Christian Creeds & Confessions Reviews in United States ### ***** "Wonderful app!!!" This app and ReadingPlan (by the same developer) are outstanding apps that are helping me in my Christian walk to study the scriptures more effectively and to understand doctrine better through the creeds and confessions. I am so thrilled to have these two apps in my toolbox! -- SheaCarter, 2024-09-01 ### *---- "No update?" I’ve used this app for years and today it’s just blank when I open it. What happened? I can’t report it as a problem with Apple because I didn’t “purchase” anything. -- tulip amy, 2023-02-28 ### ***** "It’s working!" All I did was delete it and reinstall it. It is working on my iPhone. This is THE best app! -- MoodiesJustin, 2022-07-13 ### ***** "This is the catechism app I point all my friends to" This app has great resources. I love that you can add to the list of pre-listed documents. The search feature is excellent. I also love that you can link your favorite Bible app, so you can quickly check the Bible verse references in the footnotes. This is the only creeds and confessions app that I recommend to my friends. -- Prettystinkinhappy, 2021-10-12 ### **--- "Argh…" This app was nice until the copy/paste feature was removed. Its hard to believe the copyright on a 300+ yr old document is still binding. Sad. -- quinn martin production, 2021-09-18 ### ***-- "It’s okay" Having the creeds, confessions, and catechisms all available is excellent. However, the one drawback to this app is the inability to set your own desired translation for the scripture proofs. Everything is set to ESV. A far inferior and ever-changing translation. -- Pastor Barnes, 2021-07-25 ### ***** "All in One Place" This is app clean and easy to use, and has added tons of confessional literature over time. By default, you can read the most well-known ecumenical creeds, the 3 Forms of Unity, and the Westminster Standards. But you can also add (using “Manage Documents”) much more from the Lutheran, Anglican, and Baptist traditions. There’s a lot here that I’ve never heard of! And it is free. Many thanks go out to the developer James H. Price, who has clearly listened to his users. If you want to grow in your knowledge of the Bible while staying connected with your historical forbears, this is the perfect app. -- mattrollins87, 2020-09-16 ### ***** "Excellent App....But" Will still give it 5 stars. Very good resource. I believe this has helped me a lot daily. I don’t know why the The Baptist Faith and Message 2000 isn't here. Please add it. Notifications for daily reading will be a big help. Lastly, thank you for not having strictly reformed creeds. -- Effectiverange, 2020-01-16 ### ***** "Love this app" Thank you to the developer- I just read the whole Catechism in a year. Wow- what a document- it is priceless - and rendered so beautifully in this app. I coupled this document with ReadingPlan- another free app from this developer- to make my tracking the daily reading easy. These two apps have enriched my faith immensely. Again, thank you! -- Nookerbrain, 2019-12-22 ### ***-- "Not working, but used to be great!" I can’t seem to get the app to work as well anymore. I keep getting an error “Westminster3 Sorry, the requested resource was not found”. I’m not sure how to fix it. -- The Lion of Princeton, 2019-11-02 [View all Christian Creeds & Confessions reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Christian Creeds & Confessions Discovered Keywords -
