Chunky supports CBZ, CBR, CBT and PDF comics, and understands ComicRack and ComicBookLover tags.

It can browse and download directly from iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Transporter, Google Drive, OneDrive, Amazon Cloud Drive, Box, Pogoplug, Mediafire and Copy, and you can copy files in and out with iTunes on your computer or download them via the built-in web browser.

Upgrade to Pro and it'll also connect to Mac or Windows shared folders, FTP or SFTP servers, ComicStreamer, Calibre or Ubooquity libraries, and run a mini web and webDAV server you can use to copy files in and out.

I’ve been using Chunky for years, but lately I’ve found that it won’t/can’t connect to Google Drive anymore. I get “invalid_grant: Bad request.” And this has been going on for a month. Please fix this or I’ll be looking elsewhere.

Chunky is mostly pretty nice, but it doesn’t support JP2 (JPEG 2000) images in CBZ archives. No error message, no warning, no sign it even tried. It works fine with jpg CBZ, but not jp2 CBZ.

I really appreciated the navigation when zooming on page width, and also the ability to read comicrack.xml. But unfortunately, chunky does not support latest for at images like webp which offers better compression than jpg.

Moreover, since 3 years, this app has not been updated.

Works well on an older iPad, but on a new iPad Air with the latest version of iOS, well, it’s slow. Terribly slow. It lags in loading the library, and either doesn’t move to the next page, or takes several seconds to do so. The app also shifts the page around into a blurry mess when even touching the screen.

Chunky was a grat app, but no update in 3 years takes a toll. It seems to no longer work with Dropbox. And that means no comics, since it’s never worked well with iCloud. ah well. on to other apps.
