Linked
The ability to link a wall controlled and the thermostat is a great idea. However, execution is another thing. It does not work properly. Numerous conversations with Cielo (very nice) came with promises of a fix but nothing so far.

Very easy set up and works flawlessly. Was able to get connected to Alexa very easily, and now I can control my AC units with my voice which is amazing. Pro tip, take off the film from the display to have full functionality of the buttons.
Purchased the Cielo to control the split-air conditioner temperature control in my upstairs study over the garage. The app has done an excellent job allowing me to control the temperature range from my phone during summer and winter .
Love the WiFi model it works perfect and I love how I can do it from anywhere.
It’s just a glorified remote control extender. The temperature sensor on the thermostat doesn’t matter, the mini split still does what it wants. For example, you can set the Cielo to 65, the room temp reads 70 and the heat will still be blowing. Comfy mode doesn’t work. The app keeps losing power on/off sync. It would be really easy to control temperature. When temperature is reached on the stat, just send a command to run fan only mode and return to heat or cool mode when stat indicates it’s needed. Returning.
For some reason a fully functioning google sign in was changed to this unheard of nightmare called Cielo. I was able to control everything with my google devices. Ok I can’t even access my mini splits directly through this garbage app they switched too. I created an account yet it still forces me to create one over and over but won’t let me cause, you guessed it, I already have an account but no way to actually log in. The QA, product managers and devs for this company are garbage and have no clue what they’re doing.
I had trouble with getting the phone app to work and I called for help and they took all the time necessary to make sure everything worked
If you have a Google account, the app is broken. It constantly asks you to create an account, but if you already have an account (like I do), it gets stuck in a loop because it thinks your Google email address is using the Google login, even if you log directly into the app without using Google. Frustrating.
I bought five thermostats to control two heads on my main first floor and three heads in upstairs bedrooms. Pros: Lots of thoughtful features. Love being able to calibrate the thermostats. The log for each thermostat is helpful for debugging settings. Cons: Settings often don’t take the first time. Zones and linked thermostats could use cleaner integration, for example let me create linked conditions that target a zone. Let me delete a zone without first removing each device from it. Let me create a schedule, a profile, or an esaver config and apply to all (or a subset of) devices or zones.. rather than have to recreate them for every device. There’s a great product here that just needs some rearchitecting of the app. Perhaps officially supporting Home Assistant would be lower lift?
Pretty good control app. I wish it had a little more options for fan speed control for dehumidification, but it gets the job done at a low price. When I need it I can use it for humidity control on my mini split by lowering the fan speed.
