Sign in part has to go away
Would totally give this 5 stars if I could access it all the time - every time I go a few weeks or months without signing in it signed me out and then I have to recover password without Phil no matter what also I can’t use it when I’m off-line so unfortunately I have to give it 2 stars
Bugs!
Tried to sign up several times. No success.
Can never log in and use program
It always prompts me to enter my email and password and always says password is wrong. I reset it, but the app never sends the reset link. So it makes the program unusable not being able to ever log in.
Terrible - I miss the older version
Everytime I scroll down any given list on the CineLenses app or try to type into the search box, the app pauses as if to “load” or “reload” data. The older version seemed to have been much, much faster and more intuitive!
Never works when I need it.
The app is kind of useless if it doesn’t work. When I actually need it it just says “Updating information...” and just remains there indefinitely.
Love this app!
Love this app. Very handy
Can’t sign up?
All of a sudden I need login credentials?! Coding is broken, won’t accept my email address.
Urgh
At $8.99 figured this app was worth it to save me time and money finding lenses at cool new places, sadly it doesn’t seem to be intuitive and is so specific that by the time you’ve filled out all the detail windows it requires to search for a lens that you could pretty much guess the vendor it’s going to suggest.
Good but could be better
With all the cameras we end up using in creating a film it’d be really great to include them all. For instance, smaller M4/3 sensor’d cinema cameras are used when trying to fit into small places and we still put s35mm glass on there to match the look with out A cameras. I was hoping cameras like the black magic pocket cinema camera and the Panasonic GH5 were on here because it would be great to find s16 lenses that cover those sensors! Oh well, still a decent app for other uses.
Great tool
I’m only giving this app 4-stars due to its sensitivity when searching for rental houses. When searching for cities to rent in, once you run out of room to scroll the app immediately picks the city that you landed on even if you didn’t want that city. It would be nice to highlight the city then hit “search” or “done” so that you’re getting the exact city you’re looking for.
Aside from the search issue, it’s a great app to have. I travel quite a bit for work and have been using it constantly to locate specific lenses and which rental houses are in the area.
