## Cipher Description
No servers. No tracking. No ads.

Cipher is the only end-to-end encrypted messenger that doesn't have its own backend. There's nothing to subpoena, nothing to leak, and nothing for us to read. Apple's CloudKit relays the ciphertext between you and your contact — Cipher itself runs only on your devices.

HOW IT WORKS

• Sign in once with your existing iCloud account. No phone number, no email, no "Cipher login."
• Cipher generates Curve25519 identity keys on-device, stored in your iOS Keychain. The private halves never leave your device.
• When you add a contact (by QR code, AirDrop, or iMessage invite), Cipher runs an X3DH handshake and starts a Signal-style Double Ratchet session.
• Every message you send is encrypted with ChaCha20-Poly1305 before it hits CloudKit. We can't read it; Apple can't read it; nobody else can either.

WHAT CIPHER PRO UNLOCKS

• Unlimited contacts (free tier: 3 contacts)
• Encrypted image messages
• Six premium themes & per-chat wallpapers
• Hidden chats (search to unlock)
• 7-day free trial

WHAT CIPHER PRO+ ADDS

• Duress PIN — a second PIN that opens to a clean, empty home screen so you can hand over a "spare" phone without exposing your real chats
• Screenshot detection that notifies your contact
• Auto-burn after repeated PIN failures (off by default)
• Multi-device sync — iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch
• 14-day free trial

ONE-TAP BURN

Long-press any chat to burn it on both devices. Or burn every chat at once and rotate to fresh identity keys.

DESIGNED FOR APPLE

• 100% Apple frameworks: CryptoKit, CloudKit, StoreKit 2, SwiftUI, SwiftData, App Intents.
• Zero third-party SDKs. Zero network calls outside Apple services.
• Privacy nutrition label: Data Not Collected.

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS

• Pro: $4.99/month or $29.99/year (7-day free trial for new subscribers).
• Pro+: $9.99/month or $59.99/year (14-day free trial for new subscribers).
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Restoring purchases is one tap in Settings → Subscription.
• Terms:
• Privacy:
