## Citadel Mobile Banking Reviews in United States

### ****- "Dark Mode"
Can we please get dark mode. I’m tired of the white lol! Thanks Citadel.
-- Dominic7892, 2025-09-15

### ***-- "Update information"
Update:
Alex from Citadel reached out directly to me. He found the issue on their end and quickly resolved it. It’s a shame that it took a review on here to get someone to work with me, especially since I reached out to my local branch, their customer service number, and customer service chat.

Original post:
For the last month, every time I try to use this app there’s a request to update my information. My information is accurate. The only way I can use the app is to keep changing my address from “Road” to “RD” and back again. Each time, I must verify it is me making the change. Calls to my local branch and to the 800# have been zero help. No one seems to care. I wonder if they will care when I move all my money to another bank.
-- Joyclynn R, 2025-09-04

### ***** "Old/New Account"
1st institution that I opened an account with. Customer Service has not changed other then improvement to customer needs and concerns. (1997-?)(2025-)
-- TanekaRabbit, 2025-09-01

### **--- "Must Consent to Paperless Docs"
In order to continue using this app, you must consent to go paperless, otherwise you have to submit to them an actual paper letter or visit the local branch in person, if you still want to get paper statements. I do not think this is a good app for that inconvenience.
-- icanhearjustfine, 2025-08-25

### *---- "login"
Since the update I can't use the app on my phone to login. I get a message saying it needs to verify I'm human. Then it just keeps buffering and never moves past that screen. Used to be great I used the phone app all the time with no problems.

### ***** "WHAT A BANK ! :)"
I’ve been with citadel for shorter than a month; I love the befits they have, the card protection, the easy management of their accommodations. I’ll be with this bank for a while 🤍
-- 👑Nydottt, 2025-06-28

### *---- "App Notifications Push Ads"
Notifications for purchases and usage of account/card also push advertisements for outside services (restaurant subscriptions). This feature cannot be disabled; all notifications must be turned off. Fraud detection is now more difficult….very disappointing move from the Citidel
-- Application_User1, 2025-06-04

### ***** "The best"
Fast and responsive , not delayed on updates
-- Flakdontplay, 2025-05-08

### *---- "GPS issue"
17.2 grabs GPS and keeps it active even when the app is in the background. Have to kill the app to make it stop. I had to block location access to the app to stop it from happening.

Downgraded from 3 stars to 1 star after reading the developer response. Which was unhelpful and does not even acknowledge the issue exists.

I will just leave location access blocked permanently.
-- Jzerocsk, 2025-03-27

### ***** "Best banking app"
I love my bank and there’s no bank better than Citadel
-- Citadeezy, 2025-03-25
