I then phoned and spoke to an operator who confirmed they were still searching for a driver and I confirmed I still needed the taxi. About 10-15 minutes later, received a notification to say my booking was cancelled. Subsequently phoned back multiple times and eventually got through to be told no idea why cancelled but could book again. Options are to delete the app or turn off notifications altogether. Instead of actually pre-booking a cab, this app just started searching for the driver at 3:50. Needless to say, it didn’t find any. They claim they’ll refund on complaint, but then ignore this. Also the only way of removing a payment type is to delete the app. As other reviewers have said, very counterintuitive. City cab drivers are always great, but the app is terrible.
