This is an example of an excellent app that adds value to real life outside the phone screen without requiring much interaction with the phone while on the walking adventure. I have always enjoyed exploring cities on foot. This app is an innovative use of LLMs Generative AI (surely that is what it must be using to be able to map walking tours of almost any city on earth) that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. I will also use it in my home town of NYC. -- rajivpant, 2025-08-03 ### ***** "Love this app!" If you want to get to know a city you have to walk it! Walkabout is such a great way to explore a new city. It’s so fun to see what pops up! My kids love planning out our routes and destinations. It makes discovering new places feel like a little adventure. If you love walking and checking out cool spots, you have to try this app! -- Chicaabear, 2025-05-19 [View all City Walkabout reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## City Walkabout In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | City Walkabout: Full Access | $4.99 | | Tip - support the developer | $0.99 | ## Apps Similar to City Walkabout - [RIDEMVGO](https://apptail.io/app/ridemvgo-VnJc/united-states) - [Golightly](https://apptail.io/app/golightly-aZvm/united-states) - [Master of City New York](https://apptail.io/app/master-of-city-new-york-VkGn/united-states) - [루트래블](https://apptail.io/app/app-LAso/united-states) - [Explore Redwood City](https://apptail.io/app/explore-redwood-city-JwHp/united-states) - [AI Audio Tour and Travel Guide](https://apptail.io/app/ai-audio-tour-and-travel-guide-Jjov/united-states) - [Alfred: AI Travel Planner](https://apptail.io/app/alfred-ai-travel-planner-Xmmw/united-states) - [Waytale: AI Audio City Guide](https://apptail.io/app/waytale-ai-audio-city-guide-fAQw/united-states) - [Find It Later](https://apptail.io/app/find-it-later-jdgx/united-states) - [XLPostcards](https://apptail.io/app/xlpostcards-XDKx/united-states) ## City Walkabout Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/city-walkabout-kQVv/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/city-walkabout-kQVv/canada) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/city-walkabout-kQVv/switzerland) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/city-walkabout-kQVv/spain) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/city-walkabout-kQVv/australia) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/city-walkabout-kQVv/italy) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/city-walkabout-kQVv/sweden) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/city-walkabout-kQVv/singapore) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/city-walkabout-kQVv/united-kingdom) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
