Even though the UI seems a bit outdated in style, it still achieves the main goal - providing me with the best and quickest route in London. Much better and more aware than google maps. It also provides small details like which part of the train is better to take for the quickest commute, widgets and the Apple Watch app. As some people were joking - if city mapper told me to swim to the destination - I’d swim.
this app has saved me so many times. when my phone dies i often break out into tears, not because i am lost, but because i can’t go on citimapper anymore
Generally good in more urban areas. Poor on walking directions anywhere. I find the editing/naming of Saved Places strange and clumsy. It would be very useful (obviously) to have the option to search contacts.

Great app except it often can’t work out which public transport train you are using during a trip. The ETA is right but the details in the app show the following train
This app is really useful for getting around London especially when you are first learning. It shows you the quickest routes and lots of ways to get there. I recommend this app for anyone who is new to London, or just is wondering on a quicker way to get there. It is really helpful and easy to use.
How hard can it be to have a Help section to do basics like deleting a random location that created itself? Wasted 10 minutes of my life.
Used to be a great app and I relied on it for all my travel, in the last year it’s become terrible. It gives you the wrong arrival time and train/bus departure times, they tell you to go routes that are closed or inaccessible and walking directions often bring you to the back of a building. Unreliable and sometimes just unusable which is very disappointing considering how good it used to be.
I downloaded city mapper yesterday and I’ve already used it for multiple journeys due to the simplicity and organisation of the app! It is super easy to use with live bus and train times that are easy to access. Would 100% recommend for anyone trying to find their way around major cities- Amazing!
