Most golf apps treat the watch as an afterthought. CIVIC Golf was built for it from the ground up. It can run completely independently with no phone required. > It also works on iPhone. And it's designed for one-handed use, so you can hold a club in one hand and get a distance or log a score with the other. > It shows you the actual course map, not just a satellite image. Most apps show satellite imagery, which can be hard to read if conditions aren't perfect. CIVIC Golf shows you a clean, drawn map of the course so you can always see exactly what's ahead, what's around the corner, and where the trouble is. > It's simple on purpose. It does distances, maps, and scorekeeping. That's it. So you don't have to click through 20 menus to start a round or fight with the app while you're trying to play. > It's actually free. No upfront cost, no in-app purchase, no subscription, no ads, no tracking, no selling your data. > It's community driven. CIVIC golf is built on OpenStreetMap, which means you can add or update the courses you play. It helps everyone else that's using this app, and OpenStreetMap in general. That's the whole idea behind the name. > So what's the catch? If your course isn't already in the app, you'll need to add it yourself. But it's pretty easy and kind of fun. See to learn more. Golf data from OpenStreetMap is used under the Open Database License. ## CIVIC golf (prev Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/f1/67/b6/f167b602-bed6-90b9-c8b1-208b0e0a30bc/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-11_at_15.03.51.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/29/35/c4/2935c42a-7f44-c956-855b-4db25ccaf12e/watch_screen.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/77/ad/82/77ad8224-c69d-4146-7885-f9f2aba32569/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-11_at_15.02.33.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/c7/50/3c/c7503ce7-31bd-e3c8-9f14-03b8803475d7/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-11_at_15.35.39.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/71/e6/2d/71e62d84-84d3-bb66-28b1-e6fc2ce86cbb/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-11_at_15.31.40.png/1320x2868.png) ## CIVIC golf (prev Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 4 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## CIVIC golf (prev Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/civic-golf-prev-caddieapp-hiau/united-states) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/civic-golf-prev-caddieapp-hiau/ecuador) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/civic-golf-prev-caddieapp-hiau/ireland) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
