Civil Service Pensions Reviews
Very poor
Yet again the app has blocked me saying I am “not authorised”. Despite all of the negative reviews on here, no one at Civil Service Pensions appears to be listening. Whoever in government is overseeing this outfit and their contract if service, needs to take them to task for failing to provide an effective product and simply ignoring the overwhelmingly negative view of their app.
Please scrap this app and start again
I do wonder whether CSP needs to scrap this app and start again. Now whenever I try to log in using Face ID I get a message telling me “You are not authorised. Please try with different user.” If I then try to sign-in using “Two Factor Authentication”’ I get exactly the same message, so it’s now impossible to gain access to the app.
Awful
Keeps saying I’m not authorised despite logging me in successfully on the first attempt. Don’t waste your time
Login fails
Whilst I enter my userid and password correctly after resetting password the app says I’m not authorised and to enter a different userid. Website works fine with identical details. Can’t see any app updates so a big fail here.
Rubbish
Face ID doesn’t work nor 2FA!! - total waste of time
Useless
Actually it’s worse than useless. Having used the app to remove my death benefit nomination, I then receive a pension quote which tells me that person is my nomination. No amount of arguing with the muppet pensions administrator on the phone could convince them I’d removed him.
Civil Service Pensions is dreadfully unhelpful, a position that’s supported by both its website and its app.
falls over during log in but details useful
App falls over when logging in but info good to have on phone
Doesn’t work
This app used to be great, but now doesn’t work or recognise me. After complaining I have to provide them with all my details again. Snail mail is better
Waste of time!
The app does not let you see the value of your pension, so what is the point of it.
Two factor
Forced by the app to set up two factor authentication. That takes it to 7 security actions each time, including fingerprint to open the app. Having used 2 factor once, it’s not sending texts, so can’t get in. No response to emails, kept on hold on the phone, no response to social media…
