The only app that provides you with pitch availability at 5-van sites across the UK for free.

Our goal is to make booking our small sites easier for you, the visitor, by providing you with up-to-date information and availability.

Full details, photos, directions, and prices for hundreds of participating CL sites are available, plus the ability to make a direct enquiry or booking with the site. Each site will regularly update its availability so that you, the club member, can quickly find, view and book a suitable pitch for your caravan, motorhome or trailer tent.

What is a CL? It’s a 5-pitch where you can pitch your caravan or motorhome if you are a member of the appropriate certificating body or club.

Every CL provides freshwater, a waste point, and rubbish removal. Each site is inspected annually by the club. Most sites provide Electric Hook Up (EHU), and many provide toilets and showers. Their average price is around £16/night. CLs are often located on farms in fabulous rural locations.

Simply does not work

I have not managed to book a single campsite yet. The app takes you to the website, the website says you have to book via the app. The enquire or book just sends a message and doesn’t actually allow you to book. It is a great idea but really terrible in practice.

Clunky

Too many CLs are not in the system. The default setting is so annoying- if you want a last minute booking you will always have to ring up to confirm. If you search for dates further ahead, it supposedly shows sites with availability- but when you click on it it can then tell you no availability. I keep trying to use it but I’m loosing patience.

I want to like this app but…..

This is potentially a very good app but it seems impossible to browse CLs without putting in dates, so if location is more important to you than dates, it is no use. There may be a way of deleting the preset dates and leaving the date blank but I have yet to find it. If you have specific dates in mind and don’t mind where you go then it’s fine.

Excellent, much better than official app!

Much easier to use than the official CAMC app, able to search for area & dates, and see a map properly! One improvement would be useful - the ability to filter *out* adults only sites (at present you can only exclude *non-adults only* sites) would be good.

leading the way for caravan site bookings!

We are caravanners as well as site owners and find this app incredibly useful both when we are searching for our own holiday destinations and to help our guests find our caravan site in Shropshire.

Great improvements

The changes and improvements made to both the website and app since New Year 2023 have enormously improved what was already a great facility for finding and booking small, independent caravan sites.

After the latest update it does not work

After the latest update the app does not work now, please fix it, really great app. Thanks

Doesn’t load

The app no longer works after the last update.

Won’t even open

Latest version opens to a blank page and stays blank! Come on IT get it fixed!!!

Good at first but no longer works

The latest version no longer works on the iPad. IOS 16.2.
