## ClaimPrep 2642 Description
For TRICARE beneficiaries who received care outside the U.S. and need to submit overseas medical claims requiring DD Form 2642 and key supporting documents.

Correctly preparing an overseas claim can involve multiple time-consuming steps and numerous software applications.  This includes finding and filling out the most current government forms, collecting and scanning medical bills and receipts, checking that no documents are missing from your claim, confirming claim information is entered completely and correctly, and manually combining everything in a specific order into a single file that is properly formatted for online claim submission. This app helps you do all these steps in one place (your iPhone or iPad), leaving you with just one last task of signing and submitting your claim to TRICARE.

Key app features that simplify your claim preparation and help prevent errors:
•	Current, up-to-date version of DD Form 2642 preloaded in app
•	Numbered walkthrough and context-aware display of claim fields are aligned with official form structure to support accurate completion
•	Form fields designed to prevent invalid entries and reduce errors (e.g. numeric keyboards and length limits for dates and phone numbers, tap-to-select menus for multiple-choice items)

How to use the app:
1.	Follow the numbered steps to enter your DD Form 2642 information regarding the care you received overseas (conditional fields will appear as needed based on your responses)
2.	Take and add photos of your medical bill and proof of payment
3.	(Optional) Add appropriate page labels to highlight key items supporting accurate reimbursement review
4.	Tap "Create claim PDF" so the app performs additional validation, populates the official form, converts and compresses uploaded photos appropriately, and orders and compiles everything into one properly formatted claim document
5.	Review every page in the built-in PDF viewer, make corrections as needed, and then sign and submit the claim through official TRICARE channels (outside of the app).
