ClayNote helps potters and ceramicists document, track and reflect on every piece — from the first idea to the final glaze. Photograph a piece, tick off each stage as it dries, gets trimmed, bisqued and glazed, and write down what you did while you still remember it. FOLLOW EVERY PIECE Ideas, Formed, Trimmed, Bisqued, Glazed, Finished. Tick each stage as your piece gets there, and see at a glance what's drying on the shelf and what's waiting for the kiln. NOTES THAT COME BACK TO YOU Write a note at any stage — the clay body, how thin you pulled it, which shelf it sat on. Next time you make something similar, ClayNote shows you what you wrote the last time round. MAP YOUR SURFACE DECISIONS Record glazes, underglazes, slips, oxides and stamps, and mark on the photo itself exactly where each one went. YOUR WORK IS YOURS One tap saves everything — every piece, note and photo — as a spreadsheet and a folder of pictures you can keep on your computer or a cloud drive. No account, nothing locked in. SPARKS Save the shapes, glaze recipes and reels you love from Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube, and keep them right next to your own work. ALSO • Your materials and methods, customisable to your studio • Collections and tags to organise your work your way • Search your collection by name, grouped by month • A home screen widget • Reminders to keep your journal going between sessions ## ClayNote Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/8d/03/21/8d0321e4-00f5-a1e1-b1cd-5c85bf92087b/Preview__U002815_U0029.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/a1/9c/1c/a19c1c0a-2a3e-b94f-fc61-8646b341f4b3/Preview.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/73/8e/f0/738ef09a-6498-2b9f-af30-2df21e926c45/Preview__U002817_U0029.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ae/0c/ff/ae0cff31-025d-fa06-265e-5f7b6ac2b5db/Preview__U002818_U0029.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/31/f7/f5/31f7f51c-403a-be22-c381-aa82be898513/Preview__U002819_U0029.png/1242x2688.png) ## ClayNote Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 13 (45%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 1 (3%) - 1 stars: 15 (52%) ## ClayNote Reviews in United States ### **--- "Disappointed" After switching to iPhone I was hoping this app would take the place of my discontinued Android tracker, but it has fallen short. I am quite disappointed. It's missing core functionalities that are standard for this type of tracking apps, while the AI part simply doesn’t seem to work for me and it’s quite frustrating. -- Ste11arDad, 2025-10-15 [View all ClayNote reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## ClayNote Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/united-states) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/australia) - [Brunei](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/brunei) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/brazil) - [Belize](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/belize) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/canada) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/chile) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/colombia) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/ecuador) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/united-kingdom) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/south-korea) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/mexico) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/new-zealand) - [Panama](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/panama) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/pakistan) - [Paraguay](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/paraguay) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/thailand) - [Venezuela](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/venezuela) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/argentina) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/claynote-pottery-tracker-skzw/south-africa) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
