I have used this app off and on over the years and loved it. I came back to it recently after having a baby, and I’m very annoying by the update that I can no longer scan barcodes or search branded food. This was a useful feature that they took away. I’m still giving 2 stars because I like their recipes.

I loved having this app and was okay with paying the $1.07  to have it. But lately I haven’t been able to scan anything to track my food. I use this to help with medication and other stuff I have to be doing. I would really really love to have the scan feature back on this app or I will have to find a different app.

I literally wrote a glowing review previously but just came back and noticed CSE Removeeddddd the option to track non-CSE meals?????? Then why do I even need the app??? This sucks!!! One star for you 


Prior Review: Who knew an app’s UX could be so useful and intuitive??? The people who developed this app deserve a raise and some kind of an award! I truly love the app! Not only because it has great features like calorie counting and daily planning, etc, but also because it’s veryyyyy reasonably priced, customizable, and very intuitive! I’d love to learn who thought of this and invented it!!! It’s awesome!!! It makes the planning process to reach my goal of losing weight much much easier!

I took a few months off using the app. Just came back today and am extremely disappointed that u can’t scan an item to track any longer. That was the best feature and the main reason I chose to use this app. Deleting my app and subscription.

This app was wonderful. Now my wife and I can’t even use it cuz we can’t figure out how to track common foods (rice, milk, etc) we also can’t use the scan feature. This has been over a couple weeks and I have to switch to a different app now. Too bad.

I’m an OG subscriber and I’m disappointed that so many things have changed and cse is more a supplement company now. I loved the tracking functionality of the app but that is now limited to cse meals basically and new recipes are rarely added. There are just better apps out there now like MFF.

This was a great all in one app to track macros but now can only be use for CSE product and recipes. Their restaurant section also leaves a lot to be desired in the app interface. Sadly I need to find another app for my tracking.

I’ve loved this app for several years but the new updates that remove the scanning foods option and just typing in foods to track ruins all my macro tracking! I’ve switched to a new app now and am so sad. I hope they bring these features back.

Like many others were saying, I also loved this app. But the new update where you can’t add anything or scan barcodes for products that aren’t CSE brand, is a deal breaker. Believe it or not, I eat other foods than just CSE proteins and recipes. I won’t be using this app or paying for it any longer unless they add it back.
