My previous scanner started blocking use if did not upgrade. The images were also often blurred & auto border often caused problems. With this scanner, I take colour photos with iPad, import as group selection to scanner with auto border turned off and then save as PDF to my Kindle or Books app to be able to read & refer big docs with I want to
