Cleartune is a chromatic instrument tuner and pitch pipe that allows you to quickly and accurately tune your instrument using the built-in mic in your device.

Cleartune features a unique "note wheel" interface allowing you to quickly find your pitch, paired with a highly responsive fine-tuning meter for the perfect tune.

With support for custom temperaments, transposition, notations such as solfège, and adjustable calibration, Cleartune packs more power than most pro tuners, yet is simple enough for everyone to use.

Cleartune can tune acoustic or electric guitar, bass, bowed strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, tympani and any other instrument that can sustain a tone.

Most electronic tuners cannot properly tune a violin. With a built in temperament for violin family instruments, Cleartune will have the 5ths singing perfectly.

A shame

It used to work very well… but now it’s not working at all… It’s a shame

Pretty great but one suggestion

This app is pretty excellent but there’s one suggestion I’d like to make: with the ability to make custom temperaments it would be nice to choose the number of notes because sometimes you want to have more or less notes

Don’t download

Couldn't figure it out. My harp teacher took a look at it and confirmed it is in no way user friendly. It’s only 5$ but 5$ It’s 5$ wasted unfortunately

Great in the past, terrible now!

Use to be the perfect tuner. Not updated so laggy and occasional freezes. Shame.

What’s the problem with this app??

It used to work very well, but now it’s not working well at all!! The needle don’t move and the tuning is not accurate… Very disappointed!!!

Seems to be unresponsive or freezing lately. Worked great before

It’s freezing

I bought this app buts it’s very difficult to tune any instrument with it because the app freezes I really hope that they update the app or els it’s useless.

Could use support for Bluetooth earbuds

Works perfectly but I would love if I could listen to the drone with my airpods.

Seems to have lost contact with the Mike

Mine seems to have seized up and lost contact with the phone mike, rendering it useless.

Used to be great

Cleartune used to be fantastic. Now it locks up frequently. It’s a shame it’s not been updated.
