Great app until it was updated. Then just stopped working. You can change the settings but it does not register the note. Very annoying

Cleartune can tune acoustic or electric guitar, bass, bowed strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, tympani and any other instrument that can sustain a tone.
Most electronic tuners cannot properly tune a violin. With a built in temperament for violin family instruments, Cleartune will have the 5ths singing perfectly.

Great accurate app but...
I have used this app for years. It's accurate and easy to use. However the June 2020 update rendered the app unusable on my iPad. There is no way to contact anyone for help or to tell the programmers of the failure. Support consists of a list of FAQs only. When I try to open the app now it flashes and fails to open. Such a pity I used it every day.
Great app but
Seems unstable. Crashes when dialled too fast.Also, sound issues like stuck at full blast . Sound control disabled...Had to uninstall....

Most apps on the iTunes store are just there to take your cash... This app however is one of the best tuners ever... It's far from a toy... No gimmicks here... I've been recording music for 25 years.. I use protools , neve pre amps and valve mics.. And I use this cleartune app.... It's as good as any studio strobe tuner without doubt... It's a rarity on this app store.... If you play music at any level , I recommend downloading this and then perhaps removing your credit card details from the AppStore, tuning your instrument , and play play play ...forget the programming apps that play music for you.. Get this app , and get into life.... Rock on , rap on, folk on , hip hop on , whatever you're into... Tune up... Tune in... Get real !!!!!! Five stars ... Top of the line tuner... Theres nothing else here to compare..and Theres no hardware tuner under 200 euros that's in the ballpark either .. That's for sure.... After that all I can say is the money you save from buying the other crap on here, will contribute to saving for a better instrument....WORK HARD AND BE NICE TO PEOPLE !!!!!... B.Goode

This app is great.I tried a load of the free apps and they were confusing and ultimately useless. I'd never tuned a guitar before I bought this app, is straightforward and accurate.
