Unwieldy
The app works but is unwieldy especially in playback mode, where you have to select the note so it plays. The dial is clumsy and not very responsive. Otherwise it works. In normal tuner mode there are free alternatives like Tuner Ninja.

Cleartune can tune acoustic or electric guitar, bass, bowed strings, woodwinds, brass, piano, tympani and any other instrument that can sustain a tone.
Most electronic tuners cannot properly tune a violin. With a built in temperament for violin family instruments, Cleartune will have the 5ths singing perfectly.

For the non-perfectionist
This app is good but it's not perfect. Don't expect to get amazing pitch out of it. Against my perfect pitch tuned piano, the app reads the note as below the actual. It's good nonetheless for guitar.
Works great!
I have been looking for tuner on my iPhone for quite a while. I have tried quite a few free ones and found the results lacking. Upon some recommendation by some well known worship leader's website I decided to fork out money and try this. It really works great! Detects the note very accurately. Clearly a superior programming algorithm. Works just as well as my favourite tuner on my Palm PDA- which was more accurate than my Handheld Guitar tuner.
