## Cleveland.com Reviews in United States

### ***** "Political Advocate or National Pastime?"
You’re app is fine. I’ve been a Cleveland Indians fan since growing up in Canton Ohio, and now that I live in another state it’s been a great way (along with my subscription to Cleveland.com) for me to stay on top of how the team is doing. However, I’m deleting this app from all my devices. The decision by MLB to move the All Star game out of Atlanta means the league is no longer the nation’s pastime but rather a political advocate aligned with one particular party.

The league states the new Georgia law as their reason for moving the game, claiming it discriminates against blacks. Yet, they cite no real examples of how the law discriminates or oppresses voting. In looking at the specifics of the law, it’s hard for me to believe MLB actually reviewed it before they made their decision. On the whole it expands opportunities to vote while adding a few common sense measures to ensure the integrity of their elections.

Regardless of whether the Georgia law is good or bad for their voters, what makes it obvious that MLB is making this move for the sake of political advocacy rather than any sincere moral conviction, is that the league is perfectly willing to do business with China. No doubt the league is aware that China has been repeatedly accused, charged and deemed guilty of numerous human rights violations against their own citizens, including most recently genocide. (How does that compare to asking someone to show ID when they vote?)

I will greatly miss Major League Baseball, especially the Cleveland Indians, but the league has chosen to take sides against people like me who want fair, free and honest elections. I will not be listening to, watching or reading about any MLB game as long as they find it necessary to be a political advocate rather than our national pastime.

### *---- "I’m done with sports"
As a long-time fan of the NFL, MLB and the NBA, I ve decided no more. What changed my mind? The decision to get rid of a long-time iconic character figure, Chief Wahoo” and now changing the name of the Indians?
It was fun while it lasted and my thanks to the players who made those times great. It was exciting watching the Tribe.
Football I use to enjoy, but when these overpaid players score and showboat as they do today it gets old. And to make a first down and have to celebrate. Isn’t that what your paid to do? I’ve got my recordings of the 1980’s Browns if I need a quick fix.
The NBA? Getting as bad as watching a hockey game with these guys smacking each other around. Nice way to set an example for today’s youth that watch. Not to mention they sure don’t call traveling like they use to.
I am done. I will find other more productive and educational ways to spend my time.

### ***** "Temporary Normal!"
My way of being involved with my team.
-- Chevelle8, 2020-05-16

### ***** "Tribe app"
Love the app! One can get any info desired on our beloved team. One criticism is that when checking on team standings it does not always function correctly and it’s difficult to get updates on all divisions, whether AL or NL.

### ***** "FUN YEAR TO WATCH TRIBE"
Thank you for another great year to watch our Tribe. We were always in it despite many woes along the way. Please keep Jason Kipnis. He adds so much more than his amazing talents to the team.
