Clime: Weather Radar Live

Live activities are broken and never show up. The subscription is pretty expensive for this app. The forecast is not that precise, the widgets break constantly. I bet I'll get "message our support" response, but I did many times and I either get "reinstall app" or no response at all.

I lowered the rating, because this app now uses battery in background like crazy. The battery screen reports many hours of background activity per day. To the person replying to my review: I wrote to support, they just told me to reinstall the app. I also wrote about the inaccurate data and their reaction was the same. Before suggesting to contact the support email, make sure the support staff is trained to do anything. I live in Central Europe. General forecasting is somewhat off, the firecast changes very often and shows different data than other services. That would be fine, since I like to compare multiple sources anyway, but what’s kind of bad is the satellite cloud cover layer and the precipitation layer. Clouds are outdated by 2 hours (Windy has near realtime data), rain forecast layer is seems somewhat like random data. There are better options for the price you have to pay so this app is even usable. The best thing about it is the native looking UI, but everything else is not worth it. I wrote to support about inaccuracies and the only response I received was to reinstall the app, which is pure nonsense.

Overpriced, MANY ADS, not useful. Přetáhnuté ceny, HODNĚ REKALM a aplikace je nepoužitelná. Bez peněz je takřka k ničemu, oznámení, live aktivita, předpověď, všechno za poplatek což je k smíchu. Chápu, premium funkce ať něco stojí, ale základní ? Vtipné.

Velmi dlouho trvá aktualizace radarové mapy po spuštění aplikce. I 10+ sec. Není tak hned zřejmé, jestli zakreslené srážky jsou právě ty aktuální nebo jsou již neplatné, a to z předchozího spuštění aplikace!

I při použití trial verze, musíte nejprve potvrdit předplatné, tak bacha ať ho potom nezapomenete zrušit.

Pokud nebudete platit paušál ( ne zrovna malý ), nebude předpověď, jen to, jaké počasí už bylo… 🙁

This app uses, as at least one other reviewer has pointed out, a so-called “dark pattern” subscription scheme. When you try to open the app fire the first time, you are required to sign up for a one week free trial—which will of course automatically be converted to take ninety crowns of your money each and every week after that until you remember to stop the Akrobatik subscription. It’s a scam. Why Apple allows this kind of thing, I can’t imagine. The app literally has zero functionality, unless you sign up for the free trial. It shows a blank screen demanding that you do that. REPLY TO DEVELOPER RESPONSE: Sorry, but there is NO option to simply run the app in non-pay mode. The signup screen appears for the paid plan and you have no way to bypass that screen and get the app to do anything. So what you’re saying simply is not true.
