Too early in app development
I think the app is poorly developed, as well as whatever system it uses. If you’re considering signing up, keep these things in mind: - They take super long to get back to you at each stage of the application. -The application process itself is painfully annoying. They ask for information that is absolutely not necessary. For example, you have to submit in pictures and the specific model information of you washer/dryer. They ask for pictures of the area you will be doing the laundry in. -You have to invest in buying specific laundry supplies, and show picture proof that you obtained them, before you have even had a chance to get a customer interested in your profile. I’m talking about specific BRANDS and PRODUCTS. It’s stuff I personally would never use for my own laundry. So if I never end up with a customer, it would just go to waste. - When applying, it asks you to place the zip codes you are willing to work in, instead of entering your address and the radius of the area you’re willing to take customers in. I live in the Buffalo area, so it took forever to look up and put all the zip codes to the little specific areas in my city. - The app interface is actually really confusing. I’m a twenty year old who is really savvy with this kind of stuff, and I found the way the app buttons work to be really frustrating. Overall, I think the concept of the app is great. It’s just horribly executed. Hopefully the app developers fix all these inconveniences.
