Cloud Outliner - Nested Lists

This great app has been restored! Was crashing mysteriously a few weeks ago, but now it’s great. In that time I tried every other outlining app in the App Store but they all failed. Main reasons: too many options and too sparse a view. Don’t underestimate the latter: if bullets are grouped nice and tight together then you can scan more at once with your eyes. I am doing complicated projects (and generally managing my complex life) and deciding how and when to do what is tough with only a human brain. The purpose of an outline is to store information but also (most importantly!) to help you literally juggle ideas and todos in the air, and pick and do(!), and this tidy little app is the best! (With a nod to the defunct little app called JOutliner, RIP)

I have documents with close to 1 MB of information divided up into hundreds of headings and sub headings. This app has never crashed on me and it is fast and easy to use. MG

Those some of the interface is not immediately intuitive, once I became familiar with Cloud Outliner I could not do without it. And use it daily. Love it

Up until now, I really liked this app and used it extensively to organise my tasks and organize my thoughts. But after this latest update (2.7.1), I regretfully had to delete it from my iPad. I could live with paying CAD$6.99 (on the top of the CAD$3.99 I paid when I first got the app) to get rid of the ads, but now the owner of the app is collecting all kinds of personal info that they didn't before (as a rule, I only buy apps that either don't collect personal info, or only the strict minimum), and that's a deal breaker. On top of all that, they removed the ability to transfer files directly from my iPad to and from the app. Before all this, this app rated 4 stars, now I can only give it 1 star. Oh, and one last thing: a major change like this should have been noted in the release notes; it definitively cannot be lumped into "minor fixes and improvements"...

Wish it would use the IOS keyboard with predictive spelling and finger swipe controls, and/or the Grammarly keyboard.

I was disappointed that the Apple Watch app was discontinued.

I’ve used Cloud Outliner across all my devices for several years. I wouldn’t be without it. Simple, effective, synchronized. I capture my thoughts, re-order them and use the app to help me plan life and business projects.

Outline pro can look simple and it is in the best sense of the word. It's also pack full of everything you can need to keep your ideas safe and well organized. Every time I hit a point where my ideas feel too big and disorganized, that's the app I keep going back too and believe me, I tried tons of other apps.
