CloudNews - Feed Reader

Strange behavior of the app. When I click on a news title very often the text doesn’t match the expected one. Most of the time it’s the next (or previous?) news and it repeats itself several times. Very annoying!

De menus bugs. Fait le taf, sans plus. L’icône n’est pas très jolie.

La dernière version plante dès la vision d’un article.

This feed reader always was and still is so painfully slow… opening one feed takes 10 to sometimes 30 seconds. Impossible to use! It must be the apps programming which seem to be not very efficient. And no debug logs possible so impossible to check what’s wrong with it. So sad this is still the only option for Nextcloud news on iOS - next to the browser (which at least responds quickly and does not frustrate you, like sitting and spending your life time as with CloudNews).

Sadly not a great app. Background refresh doesn’t even work

Seit dem Update gehen 2 meiner feeds nicht mehr. Es werden keine Daten mehr abgefragt.

Terrible user experience, nearly no updates, absolutely not fun to use. Don’t spend the money.

News seem to get synced but some are not visible, increasing the counter for unread items but you will never be able to read them until you check in a webbrowser. Don’t buy this app.

...denn die Synchronisation funktioniert nur gut korrekt. Gerade bei vielen ungelesenen News werd zwar signalisiert es gibt News, aber es werden keine angezeigt in der App. Außerdem muss dringend was am Design getan werden.

Yes, it’s possible to read some feeds, but : Background sync is usually not working (settings are on, also on system side), app freezes quite often, some feeditems are not shown, pictures are often mixed up between different items. It seems the developer is not using this app himself, or he has not the time to maintain it. But it is the Only app in the App Store to read Nextcloud RSS, so THANK YOU for this, even it is not perfect! :)
