Imagine a huuuge group voice note with all your friends on it.

You share a random thought and your best friend replies... then 2 minutes later another friend replies to both of you. Then your coworker replies to Kate, and they didn’t know each other before, but now they do, because they’re both friends with you, and now everybody’s talking.

And throughout the day new friends are saying hi, starting new chats, talking about what they’re doing, laughing and asking questions. And you’re hearing their voices, seeing who’s talking and joining in, and meeting their friends, and everybody’s getting to know each other better. And it’s good.

That’s what Clubhouse is.

It’s just voice. No follower counts or random people. Only your friends and their friends, in a place where you can all be yourselves and hang out like you do in real life.

Because life is more fun with friends around.

The new update is terrible

We live in Dubai and we can’t use it!!

Disappointing change to the app

The latest update revealed a disappointing shift in the concept behind the Clubhouse platform. Instead of being a platform for meeting new people and thus enriching one's social networks, it is now a watered-down version of WhatsApp, Facebook, and X, designed to keep people in the same social bubble as other social media platforms.

The update made it worse

First of all it requires iOS 15 or later so old devices are left out. Second: the app was good as it was why remove features like knowing where your friend are and seeing the rooms, and why remove the back channel and private messages? The way to have public rooms and social rooms was perfect and now it’s all gone Why try to fix it if it’s not broken?? Put it back as it was

This last update is the worst update i have even seen .. i am uninstalling clubhouse

Clubhouse latest update is a true definition of customer service complete failure they introduced a major update that completely changes the application concept removing major feature of the app and removing the people followers without spending time to introduce the changes to the members educating them about what is new or how to adopt with new update. The update happened suddenly to introduction or announcement. Suddenly we was in our clubs talking and discussing and suddenly the update was implemented and we no longer able to use the app as we used to in the last couple of years. People invested time and efforts on the app to enrich the content and build there social network and establish a routine of connecting with friends and followers and suddenly in one minute all gone.
