Stop prompting me to sign up for plus every time I come to the app.
I just want to track my cycle, I don’t want to buy anything.
I’ve been using Clue for years, but recently I haven't been able to open the app without getting 3 popups in a row urging me to spend $10 a month for their subscription. I understand that the subscription may be useful for some, but it’s beginning to get on my nerves. The popups have extremely small and easy to miss exit buttons, often trapping me on their advertisements looking for the little “x”. All I want to do is check where I am on my cycle; if I didn’t have such an extensive history with Clue I would delete the app and begin tracking with another app that won’t pester me with constant popups.
I’ve been using this app for 5 years - I really liked it at first before it became a money grab with the constant feature ads & pushing you to upgrade. Owning a uterus is expensive enough already thank you very much! Other than the neat user interface, everything this app offers can be achieved using a plain journal or calendar and some simple math.
See title, requires an internet connection to even view anything in the app, absolutely useless, I was at work and felt a small cramp and went to check this dumb app if I’m about to start bleeding all over the office but unbeknownst to me someone on my family cell plan used all the data, so it shows nothing! Happened again yesterday, the whole cell network in my city was slow/down, needed to check the app and couldn’t. Their excuse is it would cause problems with syncing data entered offline vs online but that’s asinine, at least let me VIEW my data even if I can’t enter anything, I paid for this app on a deep discount (like 12$ for the year) and I still regret it because this decision is dumb as hell and makes me think it’s more about data gathering vs helping people w their periods.
I really like clue and have been using it for years. You can log in a great variety of symptoms and the period prediction is pretty good (at least for me). However, there used to be a view where you could see each month’s data (as is a stacked bar graph) and you could filter by type of symptom. This would allow me to view, at a glance, when I would have a specific symptom over the course of different months and easily identify patterns. Now, I cannot find this view, even if I pay the pro version. All I can get is a calendar view, which requires me to scroll a lot to see different months, and does not allow me to select only one symptom (the only one I can isolate is the period). I am very disappointed by this change, since this filtering was the best feature of the app in my opinion. How can I get it back ?
Been using this app for over 4 years now. Super easy to track your period, tons of things to track and customize to your liking, as well as incredibly accurate predictions for your next period. The app is very clean and minimalistic, it doesn’t overwhelm me when I open it up compared to other period tracking apps. Love it! 10/10 recommend!
The app works however you use to be able to connect with another member and see each others cycle - now this function only goes one way. If it was brought back and inclusive to the LGBT+ community I would give 5 stars.
The app is good at predicting how long the cycle would be and when it ends, should there be variances. However it doesn’t accurately predict the start of the cycle. Not pleased.
