Clue Period & Cycle Tracker

Would be so much more convenient

I used to love this app, the interface is very clean. It was useful as we could track symptoms as well. However, after Clue introduced the subscription plan, it has been prompting me to subscribe every time I click something in the app. It has ruined the user experience and is unusable for me now.

I’ve been using Clue for years and I really loved it!!!! But compared to last time, the user interface has been affecting my experience with the app. I hate having to scroll sideways for certain things! Endless scrolling was so much better. All the great features of the app were what made me want to download it in the first place but even very basic information about periods (example: what each d*sch*rge indicates) is hidden behind a paywall. I understand that people should be paid for the work that they do but limiting free access to very basic information for a week is too much!! Paywall should be used for in-depth content and analytics and not basic information. Furthermore, I hate how everywhere I click I’m being prompted to pay for the app. I really want to continue using this app but I’m so irritated using Clue and might consider using Apple’s period tracker function instead lol. :/ If the ui/ux was better I would defo pay to use this.

Glad i signed up for premium! Information Worth every cent

Had been using it for over 5 years as it WAS the best app for tracking among the market. Now they’ve completely migrated all the good features behind a paywall and users are kinda forced to pay indirectly. If you’re going for free then this app is just a basic tracking and predicting your cycle, don’t even bother logging the symptoms anymore.

went from being the best no nonsense app for free, to locking up your EXISTING data behind a paywall. thats bordering on unethical without even warning your existing users. i paid for the discounted first year subscription JUST SO i can start exporting my data before i bid this app farewell, since they expect you to pay 60 dollars a year for it. if the UI had been the original i'd maybe give it a thought but they actually made the entire app less intuitive and clunkier in the latest updates and then put a paywall. if it ain't broke don't fix it and in this case, absolutely ruin it.

Good simple app for tracking but it’s now super annoying as every time I enter the app I get a full screen ad for the premium subscription. Then every time I click to do something else I get another full screen ad. Then when I’ve clicked out again and moved to another part of the app i get another ad. It’s too much. I get it that you want to promote premium. But if I’ve closed the ad, maybe wait at least a week before showing me another ad.

Totally understand business sustainability but the user experience is just no longer there as almost every click sends you to a subscription page now. Switching apps for now.

I started using Clue about 7 years ago and really appreciated this app even though more and more functions have disappeared behind the paywall over time. However, today I was forced to update the app and realised that even the only best function of tracking the length of past period cycles have disappeared. The free version of this app is essentially useless now... And needless to stay I will stop using it.

have been using clue for many years, but now many features are locked behind a paywall. monthly subscription fee is too expensive, if there is really a need to make users pay for these basic features, then switch to a one-time payment pls.
