## ClutchSOS Description
ClutchSOS® is a proactive way to ensure you’re never alone by connecting you with Friends/Family/Colleagues. With ClutchSOS® there are options for intervening in unsafe situations and you can save invaluable proof of what happens.

Anytime you leave a building, Press the Start Button to self-record your location and audio; even put a note in on where you’re going next.nnDuring your trip, if you feel uncomfortable, Alert your Friends/Family/Colleagues to help you with the push of a button.

When you do, they can see your location, hear you through live streamed audio, and talk to you via text and voice through the app. If a situation escalates, they can call 911 for you.  ClutchSOS® can also automatically alert your Friends/Family/Colleagues after one, two, or three hours or after your phone's battery drops below 5 or 10 percent.

With ClutchSOS®, you receive instant live streaming, multiparty voice and chat, stored recordings with dates, and a history of the locations where you used ClutchSOS®.  Plus, even if your battery dies, your live streams in Group Mode will still be saved and sent to your trusted contacts. 

Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.
 
ClutchSOS is not a substitute for 911. If you need police or paramedics call 911.

I read the other reviews stating, people couldn’t sign up. Say email already in use. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but months later, same thing happened to me. Sad, I really wanted to have this app on my phone

In the beginning when I found out about this app via social media Twitter, I was so excited to download because it was started by a black creator with the minority individual in mind. Unfortunately, it’s been quite some time since I’ve downloaded this app and for some reason I have been unable to sign up. The main issue is trying to type in a create a password. It’s like it doesn’t even allow me to do that. I want to give this app a good review after using it, but in order for me to even do that, I have to be ABLE to even use it. I’ve already restarted the app several times and I’ve also made sure that my phone software is up to date. Unfortunately, I don’t suggest downloading this app if you are unable to sign up, because it will remain as a recurring issue.

I wanted to have this app because the idea is great, but unfortunately as I was creating my acc my foreign number wasn’t accepted. You can only have it with a US number!

Please make it international!!!!! 😕😕

This app is a really great idea and something I’ve wanted for a while to make me feel safe. 

The one thing that upsets me about the app is that it is only on Apple products right now. My boyfriend has an android and can’t get this app on the google play store, which is a bummer because he was supposed to be my main clutch contact. I’m hoping the the developers are working on getting this on the google play store soon so that everyone has access to it.

I downloaded the app and I had the same problem as other people, when I tried to sign up it said my email was already used before even though I had never used it before. I did everything (uploaded a picture and filled out everything), I closed the app and when I re-opened it it was set up, but I don’t know what password it saved. I have an app similar to this one but I’m glad this one has more features. I hope to god I never use it but it’s good to have!

not enough room for my allergies conditions and meds. market this to van life, hiker, nomadic communities. would do well i bet. if you can raise the character count i’ll download. otherwise not useful for me. good luck!  found your video on tik tok.

They really need to fix the signup system. They send a 4 digit code to your phone but if you leave the app to find the code you get sent back to the start page and need a new code. I had to use two separate devices just to get signed up for this app. I had an Overabundance of patience this morning, I guess. Almost just deleted it since so frustrating to get in to it. Please fix this people.

This is amazing. Long walks home from work in the dark are very scary as a female and this app gave me a lot of security. However I wish it was available for Android users. Both of my parents have Android so the only people that I can add on here are people I don’t even live with.

I’ll admit, I discovered this app through tiktok. But as a woman in this day & age, I’ve encountered plenty of unsafe & unsettling situations. This app gives me a type of reassurance that I didn’t know I needed. I feel that it’s very well done & takes the appropriate safety measures in order to insure ones safety & peace of mind. Plus, it’s free! 110% worth it.

I just downloaded this app and first it said that my email was taken which it shouldn’t be but there should be an email verification because i used my personal email to try to sign up. 

Second, it said my PHONE NUMBER was already taken even though i’ve had this number for almost 10 years and I used the verification code it sent me. How is that even possible when I have never created an account before.

(I can not use this app. I tried to sign up and someone used my email to create an account. I don't know how that is possible. It won't even let me go back out of that screen or send a message to fix the problem)
