Great for beginners like me

Whether it’s global markets, tech, or healthcare, it feels like you’re always plugged into what matters most. User-Friendly Interface The app’s design makes it easy to navigate and find what you need. Even if you’re not tech-savvy, it’s pretty straightforward to use. Cons Advertisements in the Free Version The ads can get pretty annoying if you’re on the free version. If you want an ad-free experience, you’ll need to shell out for CNBC Pro. High Premium Subscription Cost Speaking of Pro, the price of $34.99 a month or $299.99 a year might feel steep, especially if you’re just looking for basic updates or insights. Occasional Performance Issues I’ve noticed the app can be glitchy sometimes, especially when streaming live content. It’s not frequent, but it’s frustrating when it happens. Shallow Analysis in Some Cases While it covers a lot, I’ve found that the depth of analysis for certain topics could be better. For deeper insights, you might need to look elsewhere. In my case I use motley and levelfields for my weekly recaps, knowing that there is a human behind the given insight helps a lot.

App not worth it

Loading articles in-app vs with a browser takes sOOOOooooooOoo long. Articles don’t even have open in browser button under the share function. I still need to copy and paste the url. Zzzz

Bad User Experience

I have not been able to retrieve News articles in the past 4 weeks with the app. It hangs. August 5, 2021 I reported this problem to cnbc support mid July 2021. After a few email exchanges the problem remains unresolved to date. The user experience has only gotten worse today, because despite my active subscription, I’m unable to access CNBC Pro Live. What a disappointment for a highly engaged customer with daily cnbc app usage. I’m thinking of canceling my subscription and switching to Bloomberg.

If you ever want the truth and information that doesn't serve big hedge funds then don't listen or read anything from them. Download the Yahoo finance app instead. You'll get better unbiased information. CNBS
