## Coastal Credit Union Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Bank is great, app is wonky most days"
The bank and stag are great. The app is hit or miss and sometimes features don’t work consistently
-- JasMalone919, 2025-10-06

### ***-- "Mobile deposits"
I love working with Coastal and the fact that it’s not one of these huge national for profit banks. However, their mobile app leaves much to be desired, particularly when it comes to depositing a check. Over the course of several different, smart phones with increasingly better cameras, the check capture photography often times does not work to the point of frustration. Need to get this repaired and fixed so smoother operation for users.
-- Egman18, 2025-10-05

### *---- "Terrible app"
Currently unable to open the app and this happens often . And when the app is working, it’s very slow.
-- Hadez69, 2025-09-09

### ***** "Well done"
You cannot do better than Coastal
-- CADDADS, 2025-08-27

### ****- "Love this bank- one suggestion"
The fact that the accounts are listed through the member number and are differentiated between the last four digits has caused SO MUCH CONFUSION when trying to link other banks or payment systems. There’s got to be a better way!
-- CatCat53, 2025-08-25

### *---- "Check deposit"
Long-standing problem: the phone app is NOT RESPONSIVE AT ALL for online check deposits: it requires numerous tries (8, at last count) before photos of the check are taken. Going forward, I am moving all my deposits to another institution.
-- Membernolonger, 2025-08-23

### ***** "New website!"
Love it! So easy to manage transactions!
-- pjones1114, 2025-08-22

### *---- "Mobile Deposit Feature Stinks"
The mobile deposit feature on this app is so finicky. Half the time it rejects the deposits even when following the instructions for endorsing and imaging to a tea. I can't tell you how many times I've had to drive to the bank to deposit a check due to this feature not working properly. Please get this fixed!!
-- Annoyed! FCU, 2025-08-20

### **--- "Crashes repeatedly during deposit"
If you just need to check balances and schedule payments or transfers , then yes… the app is great. If you need to actually make deposits, it will make you want to throw your phone across the room. I swear… I’m cleaning the counter tops, checking lighting, making sure the framing is just right like it’s a photo shoot for a magazine … just for it to crash out and make me go through the login process repeatedly… it’s more finicky than a preteen with her first Insta account. But that’s IF you can even get it to take the picture of the check in the first place … I’m tap-tap-tapping like Happy Gilmore just for it to do… nothing … then crash and I’m back to login again! I swear… when it comes to deposits… I absolutely hate this app!
-- ABarrow4, 2025-07-31

### **--- "Mobile deposit crashes"
Unable to use check deposit using the app on iPhone. It crashes soon after you take a photo of the front
