### ***** "It’s been a great addition"
I recently moved to a new complex that opened near my job and I downloaded this app when I moved it. It’s been a very good resource to connect with neighbors and events and everything going on. I like that my apartment complex gives us the chance to connect with neighbours. And the marketplace is convenient to get free items and sell items. I’m very glad we have this resource in my community. I would recommend it to others for sure

Cool idea for an app to keep in touch with people in your complex, but when I made a post saying a new apartment policy wasn’t good and why, being very nice with my language, Cobu told me it was too negative and asked if I wanted to post anyway, I hit yes and then my comment acted like it showed up on my Cobu but on my wife’s it was not shown. So Cobu will hide anything it deems negative towards your complex meaning you have to only pretend everything is nice and peachy.

Super slow for things to load. App has a location to remove certain notifications but it doesn’t work. So market place notifications pop up every minute. Uninstall.

Before they rolled this out it was almost impossible to communicate with neighbors. Now we have a way to stay connected and help one another. Wish I had this before.

They REALLY want your consent to text you. The latest version of the app asks you to consent to text messages and accept terms of service on the same screen (when you open the app) . It doesn’t matter how many times you accept the terms of service (which by the way you can’t see because the hyperlink goes nowhere) , the pop up returns I suspect because they want you to consent to marketing texts.
Not to mention there are so many bugs and in the app relating to notifications and speed. Would give no stars if possible.

This app is a great concept but horribly buggy. Things take awhile to load, clicking buttons doesn’t do what you expect a lot of the times. Overall this app is challenging to use and so buggy. Much room for improvement. I wouldn’t recommend.

Cobu has admins that have the ability to censor any post they feel does not meet their “code of conduct”. For example, residents in my apartment building have voiced safety concerns and discuss the safety issue. No conflicts or heated discussions arise from these posts, just talks about building safety. Cobu deletes these posts in the name of their “code of conduct”.

 If I were a property manager, I would not use this app for my buildings or residents.
