Collect by WeTransfer

I love this app and use it to store and play meditation and workshop recordings daily. So when it randomly tells me I’ve logged out ( I haven’t) and then takes ages to re-load, it’s a real nuisance

Saved a lot of my work files in this app now can’t access. Pants. No good to me.

Lacks controls and guidance on import items, transferring etc… Fundamental and basic app with very few user friendly features

I hate to write this as previously collect and WeTransfer have been great. But the amount of issues I have faced with the app now have led to me literally losing photography jobs. I have had serious issues with file syncing and also the app will not allow me to link my WeTransfer pro subscription which means I am paying over $100 for nothing. I cannot send work files and I have had a client now leave me to find someone else as I haven’t been able to send them the files. Totally unimpressed and disappointed. Would never recommend to anyone unless these issues are sorted asap.

I’ve been using Collect for two years and now all my files have been deleted without satisfactory explanation. For an app whose sole purpose is to enable saving of content the loss of two years’ worth of saved files which WeTransfer tells me cannot be fixed is - well I’m lost for words, it’s a joke. The explanation, if you can call it that, from the WeTransfer Support team is that my files have not been saved to the Collect server. I’m not that stupid. It is deeply suspicious and I think I understand exactly what’s gone on. Despicable - but thankfully I have back up and can carry on. My preference is not to give any star rating at all but as you know I am unable to post my review without doing so - another joke. Therefore I hereby revoke that one star I am forced to give by this feed back process. I do not rate your app at all.

I can’t send a link to a board anymore after the most recent update. Why not all of a sudden?

Also a super useful tool for a designer type who has to keep their stuff organized. Of course there are others apps out there that do similar stuff, but this one’s easy to use 💯

Have to us this as my photographer does. No user friendly. I can’t seem to transfer my photos off!

This new version is terrible. So difficult and clumsy, with boards....I don’t want boards! I can send photos but receiving them is a nightmare, that’s if it gets that far. The old version was so easy to use and for friends to download photos. It was excellent. If I want a messy complicated programme for transferring photos, there are plenty out there, but I don’t, I want something simple and easy, just what this one should be.

I am using it and no problems. The app works well and all has been simply soothing sailing. But in my case it was smooth listening.
