## Collections Database Reviews in United States

### ***** "Easy to use"
As much as I spent hours/weeks imputing my audio books into the database I realized that, yes, I have all of them in one place, but not being able to see the listing of all of them with full information is a super drawback. I am a displaced Bento user and loved the old AppleWorks database. Alas, if I want to print I have to have each listing on an individual page! I don’t want 1800 pages when a spreadsheet like printout would work better and save the trees. I will continue to use this database but I am frustrated at how little It allows me to view. Plus, Scrolling is awful when you have this many listings.
-- Knute1066, 2025-11-20

### ***** "Love it"
It’s a game changer for keeping all my collections in order. I really like that I can build custom databases for everything from my book collection to my games and keep it all protected. Totally worth it!
-- MoZZoro, 2025-11-20

### ***** "Like Airtable bases but your data is synced through iCloud"
For me this app scratches an itch I've felt for a very long time. The front end is pretty rough but I don't think there's another app like this - Collections provides a somewhat user-friendly mobile database front end on mobile apps + Mac and syncs your data through iCloud, no subscription required.

Also, the developer replied pretty quick when I asked for help setting up a particular feature I wanted but didn't know how to do.
-- jonschneider, 2025-11-15

### **--- "Good features but really unintuitive UI"
I really want to like Collections. It has a lot going for it - cross device sync (iphone+mac), local storage, flexible views, diverse fields, easy entry of new items. But I’ve tried 3x to adopt it for several of my personal databases and each time I get held up in how intuitive (eg, nested options, weird input layout) it is to add new fields, add new views, edit either of them. It’s really stopping me from embracing this otherwise sound app…. I’ll check back in a few months but for now I’ll be deleting :(
-- ChrisTow3, 2025-11-14

### ***** "This app is AMAZING"
I have a large book, vinyl, and sheet music collection and this app is helping me stay organized. I love how easy it is to scan things in and sort things using Google Books and Discogs. Amazing, Amazing. I also love that this is an app where I can pay once. No ads, no subscription nonsense. THANK YOU!!!
-- BarnacleBoy2020, 2025-11-07

### ***** "Great app and support! … but"
EXTREMELY flexible, customizable and POWERFUL. **But** the lack of a good user guide is a big drawback. I know I am only scratching the surface of what I could do with this app and that is very frustrating.
-- mypaperstuff, 2025-09-18

### ***** "Great app, but it really needs the ability to be able to move documents to another collection"
Not being able to move things around makes it extremely restrictive. It takes a lot of work to copy all the documents with every single image in them one by one, when being able to move it would be so much easy.

Also, missing a full backup option. It scares me a little to use for important documents when there's no full backup.

That said, I love the clean UI, this helped me declutter my phone and Mac & keep things more organized.
-- MalloryKnoxxxx, 2025-08-13

### ***** "Nice, intuitive, easy to use database"
Using it and after a couple of days, I upgraded to pro at the very reasonable price ($5.99).
Data NOT collected!
-- Made a son by Jesus Christ, 2025-08-10

### ***** "Nicely done"
Very early in my experience with this but it is well designed and I whipped up a comic book database in less than five minutes. Worth the price just for that but I will be building more in the future.
-- jparsons9, 2025-08-06

### ***** "Life Altering"
This is the #1 best application for keeping track of notes/information or, my personal favorite use, ranking stuff. You can sort and keep track of things in such an organized way, all of which saves to the cloud, keeping it safe and secure. In addition to this, Collections is the most intuitive application ever, far surpassing any Microsoft or Google application I’ve used (and I love OneNote). Absolutely insane, 5 stars.
