App was working great until recent update

macmova on

Prior to installing a new update this week this app was great, functional, and did everything I needed to. Now when I’m scanning a color, the force closes the app and it’s useless.

New software broke my muse

tomdfw1 on

I was happy with my color muse but hadn’t used it in a few months so my iPhone archived the app. When I went to use it, it downloaded an update I guess and it won’t connect.

Easier compare would be nice

TK34567 on

I bought the Pantone subscriotion. My usage will be in printing, where colors are specified by pantone number. It woukd be great if i could simply type in the target pantone number, do a scan, and get a delta E. Having to scan a color fan doubles the work and makes it necessary to carry a fan around with me. Perhaps this feature is present, but i could not find it.

Numbers do not change when I’m advanced mode.

iPhone bad A on

As of newest update. The numbers do not change in comparison mode under advanced mode. If another color is selected the numbers won’t change until you go back to basic and then back to advanced. Everything saved in comparison is wrong due to this issue.

The app won’t let me log in

pizzasocks on

I only use this app 3-4 times a year and I have never had a problem before but I just tried to log in and it won’t let me. When I click the “continue without logging in” option a different error message comes up.

App crashes when I click on coordinating color

Fauxvirho on

I love this app besides the crash I experience after I scan a color, then click coordinating colors, select a color scheme, and then try to click the suggested color.

App works great...but

Guitarbanae on

There is only the option to compare colors that you have scanned with your color muse device. I have scanned one color and am trying to match it in another brand. I don’t have the option to do that. Please consider modifying the compare color option to include non-scanned colors in the color comparison field.

Now requires account to function

eaykb on

So much functionality removed to force us to have an account.

Absurd.

Radar1234 on

New version of app is terrible. Way too many steps to get going. 1st step: Select create account or login. 2nd step: use your email and password to sign in and click submit. 3rd step: select your region (North America) 4th step: select package (paint and coatings) 5th step: shows you a tutorial that you have to skip 6th step: click on “connect device” 7th step: click on your listed device 8th step: click on “calibrate device” Only then, can you start scanning. This is absurd. Preposterous. What other app do you use that requires this many steps to get going? What app requires your entire email and password every. single. time??

Very handy, but

Rdyornot on

The ability to save the scanned color instead of just the paint matches would be very useful.
