Colorscape

This was once a great multi-purpose app that worked for both coloring sheet creation and a little drawing, along with some bonus premade pixel art to color in. It wasn't ideal, but it worked for me. Colorscape was a dream . . . . . . until some n00bilicious n00bs who wanted some t1x decided to throw in AI. They flipped Colorscape on its head, adding new features no one wanted and removed old ones I apprieciated. Now, the "paper" GUI is half its original size, with no zooming (or bad zooming—I couldn't tell). The now-cryptic toolbar takes up a decent of the screen—it took up only about 13.37% of it beforehand. Additionally, creating a shirt or mug or an otherwise happy home in Colorscapia was once a minor feature, not a key functionality, of this app. It seems to be now. What possessed these devs to comepletely overhaul an app like this? Unless you want all of this and undoubtedly more, avoid this app as if all your joints depend on it. I have no idea what I just typed.

EDIT TO ADD: App developer responded to comments and posted video tutorials on how to modify outlines… however, these still don’t demonstrate the biggest concern I currently have with the app-how to change the ACTUAL DRAWING TOOLS and modify their size/thickness… this process used to be so simple and straightforward in the version prior to the app refresh, but now has seemingly disappeared, and the pencil/eraser now only seem to have one standard size options for each that can’t be modified. For example, if your outline comes out but it misses one small section that isn’t connected to another line, if you add color with the paint bucket, the color will just go anywhere it has space, rather than staying confined to the area you actually want it to stay in, and you can’t change the line to be very thin and make the detailed direction. My original thoughts below still stand, but until this issue can be fixed/addressed I’ll have to keep trying to find an alternative. I don’t usually review apps, but I felt like I needed to review this one… because it used to be SO GOOD until they started upswing it earlier this year. Shen they changed the foe,at/layout for stuff, a lot of the ease of coloring pictures was quickly removed, and I have been completely unable to figure out the new system and modify my outlines freely with the line sliders at the bottom of the screen. There doesn’t seem to be any instructions or anything anywhere, so I’m basically stuck with upping that my outlines automoatically come out mistake-free when egenerated (which almost never happens). I feel bad that I have to now give it 3 stars instead of the 5 I would have given it when I first started using it, but that’s what happens when you make unnecessary changes and improvements that I really don’t think were needed. Very disappointed.

Everything is just so real and amazing and I hope the authors of Colorscape have a good time!!!!!!!!!

It’s unclear how to save books you’re working on. And they’re not cheap.

Excellent creation. Almost perfect. I designed my own logo many years ago. I enjoyed this experience. Great Job! Where do you collect pictures that are created?

I really enjoy Colorscape because it allows me to get more creative with my drawings/paintings and explore different color choices before actually painting on canvas!

I paid for credits and keep getting a try again later message when trying to get AI to generate images.
