## Comfort Sync® Thermostat Description
"This app is designed to be used with the Comfort Sync A3 thermostat.

The Comfort Sync® A3 thermostat doesn’t just control temperatures like a conventional thermostat, it automatically adapts to individual lifestyles and to the changing environment to help deliver precision comfort, energy savings and peace of mind. The Comfort Syc (Sync) App allows the user to control their HVAC system from anywhere in the world as though they were standing in front of their own thermostat.

App Features

• Adjust and view your house temperature from anywhere in the world
• Edit and view your thermostat schedule
• Away Sync™ uses the location on your mobile phone to detect when the house is empty and automatically change the temperature to a more energy-efficient setting. When a family member is on the way home it automatically returns the temperature to its regular setting
• Much like a weather report will use a temperature and wind speed to determine a Wind Chill index to indicate the perceived temperature, the Comfort Sync True Temp™ temperature takes into account indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity to make a home feel exactly like the homeowner desires. Therefore, when the thermostat is set to 72 degrees, a home will “Feel Like” (a home's ""True Temp"" will be"") 72 degrees year-round
• Allergy Sync™ on the Comfort Sync A3 gives immediate allergy relief by monitoring air quality and pollen levels outside. When high levels of pollutants and allergens are detected, the fan automatically turns on to keep the home’s air clean
• The thermostat’s advanced warning system predicts problems before they happen and alerts the homeowner and your dealer if enabled
• Get alerts, reminders and advanced warnings from your system wherever you are

You must own a Comfort Sync A3 thermostat to use this app. The Comfort Sync A3 thermostat must also be connected to your home’s Wi-Fi router before the app can control the settings.

## Comfort Sync® Thermostat Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Needs more flexibility"
Needs more flexibility to be as good as my old EcoBee. Needs to let the user add more trigger times, as the app only allows 4. (EcoBee allows many more). Needs to be able to turn off the gradual heating between trigger times so the user can actually control the temperature precisely.
-- RoodooT, 2024-11-30

### *---- "Limited flexibility"
Why can’t I set temps hourly?
-- RMattx, 2024-09-11

### ***-- "Will changes stick or not?"
As others have said, this app is handy when it works. Changes I make to the simple temperature or mode, or to a mode’s schedule, often don’t actually take — especially, ironically, when I make them within my house! It seems to work better when I’m away from home. The navigation on this app (including on the wall unit) has never been great , but I can get past that if this app would just reliably connect.
-- nahho, 2024-09-05

### ***** "Two stage"
App is great. Would like for the app to show when it is either in two stage or single stage cooling mode. That would put this app in elite status.
-- NAH119922, 2024-07-28

### *---- "Horrible connection makes app useless"
The app can’t log in 95 percent of the time. It says “no internet available” when every other internet-dependent app on the phone is workin great. Like other companies in recent years, there is no practical way to speak to a technician.

Hoping this review will get some kind of response
-- no@#$&*, 2024-06-27

### *---- "So many bugs"
Works about 25% of the time.
-- Jallove7, 2024-06-05

### *---- "Help!"
Just how do you get help? I can run the thermostat if I log into safari on my phone but I can’t log into the app! Called the number to talk to someone, they had to give me another number. That person had no idea how to help me. Don’t you have a software tech? I was told to call my installer. Are you kidding? It’s your app. And don’t tell me to uninstall the app. The app already has all my info from when I registered. You can’t permanently uninstall an app. When you install it again it brings back all the previous information. I have tried it a dozen times. I have tried changing my password a dozen times or more. Who can help me???
-- 034703, 2024-05-21

### ***-- "Apple HomeKit"
It would be nice if it was able to be paired with Apple HomeKit.
-- Hddghhh, 2024-03-08

### **--- "Loading issues"
My two issues are it takes too long to load my three thermostats and my floors are not in order with no way to change them.
-- Stevlis#, 2024-02-16

### ***** "Works great now!"
This app used to have some serious glitches. Well, someone finally paid attention to the reviews and fixed it. Everything works great now. The app is responsive, all buttons work, and it will even stay on the zone that you were last adjusting without jumping back to the first zone. Way to go guys! Thanks for listening.
