Wouldn’t it be great to harness some of those lost minutes to get pointers and see patterns for living a different way? What if you could access timeless truths anywhere, anytime in mere moments—and conveniently meditate on God’s word throughout the day? COMMENDED offers a single Bible verse with quick-read, practical reflections for your journey with God—delivered to your smartphone daily fone one year. Exploring passages from every Book in both Old and New Testaments (including lesser-knowns like Obadiah and Titus), Dr. Daniel A Brown makes Kingdom principles easy to see and apply. His perspectives from decades of scripture-informed experience, also teach you how to find those principles yourself! “After rededicating my life to Christ in 1970, I began reading five Bible chapters each day, and I got in the habit of selecting one verse to think about from what I read. Only much later did I learn that was what people called ‘meditating on God’s word.’ COMMENDED helps you follow that same pattern.” ~Daniel A. Brown, PhD This app isn’t intended to replace your regular Bible reading, or to supplant your connection to a local church and its leaders. But if you want to develop a daily pattern of Scripture meditation, COMMENDED will focus you and give you a boost. COMMENDED demonstrates how/why “whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope” (Romans 15:4). Features: o Daily Devotions: Start out reading today’s devotion, and then go back to past devotions to catch-up on ones you have missed! Listen to the devotions in one of twenty languages. o Favorite, Notes, and Share: You can mark any devotion you like as a “favorite,” enabling you to find it quickly in the future. Writing notes on what you’re learning gives added richness to your daily devotions. You can even share devotions with friends and family. o Seminars: Listen to over 40 seminars by Daniel on topics like: discipleship, the fruit of the Spirit, marriage, and more! o Reminders: Set up a reminder in the app to get into the routine of reading each day. ## COMMENDED Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/22/a0/91/22a091ec-d301-ba26-fb18-5636669a89c1/commended_devotions.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/0d/b0/b3/0db0b3ab-aeca-096e-5ebf-7b48dc6befba/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_14_Pro_Max_-_2026-02-18_at_14.44.46.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/d7/22/00/d7220062-b734-0c97-9945-1c9626e6b8df/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_14_Pro_Max_-_2026-02-18_at_14.45.41.png/1242x2688.png) ## COMMENDED Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 80 (96%) - 4 stars: 2 (2%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 1 (1%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## COMMENDED Reviews in United States ### ***** "Heart felt - Blood applied" Excellent presentation of the what bold humility looks like - Thankyou! I find Daniel Brown's teachings help me recalibrate, aligning my heart and mind with the truth of who God is and who I am in Him. -- Steve/Cheryl, 2023-01-26 ### ***** "seeking Him first" starting the day with God first with thanks and shift for a better everyday makes a huge difference for me. Doesn’t everyone want that?! Matthew 6:33 for me, Seek first the kingdom of God and live righteously, and He will provide everything I need. My summary of this first so that it speaks to me directly. I wake up with this every day to remind me who he is in my day to day. -- Bonusnut, 2023-01-13 ### ***** "Art ragan" Absolutely right on. Very appropriate and appropriated. Very timely and potent, but very sensitive and genuine. I enjoy it immensely and so do the several life groups and Bible studies I attend or lead. Thanks Dr.Brown. Daniel I remember you from Church on the Way, although I was a little to old to attend . I had a stall friends who did. The Lord bless you many more years of service to believers who are still trying to get saved by keeping the ‘Law of Behavior’ instead of the ‘Law of belief’! -- thisistoolong, 2022-10-08 ### ***** "Such a great resource" So much wisdom, understanding and guidance packed into this app. Downloaded it and immediately fell down a rabbit hole in the Seminars portion of great advice and useful, life changing information. -- TuckDaF***, 2021-08-13 ### ***** "Commended App - EXCELLENT!"
