i felt really disgusted to see that only she/her and she/they were options for pronouns. pronouns do not equal gender, and you do not get any further in creating a culture of acceptance, support, and safety by trying to police the idea of what a ‘woman’ or ‘marginalized gender’ looks like. feel really disappointed by the TERF-y nature of this idea of womanhood and gender.

This is the first social platform that I’ve ever been on that hasn’t made me feel threatened, intimidated, or discouraged by hateful, negative or inflammatory comments whether directed toward me or others or just out into the world. Communia is a place where you can actually speak your mind, find like-minded people, get support and helpful feedback and most importantly feel vibes of friendship, love, respect and positivity. This is a genuine and sincere utopian space on the internet where people can make authentic connections without fear of being judged or attacked. The best part? Its community-driven! Content is created, delivered, posted and seen by real users. No AI, no bots, no algorithms. Just *real connections. I love it there.
Healing is hard especially when those immediately around you aren’t aware. On this platform, there’s so many beautiful like minded people. It makes healing and self discovery a lot easier. Even on cloudy days, it doesn’t hurt to be on here. It’s enough to shift a negative mindset for the day and then some. 💖💖💖

Communia is a great app to connect with other womxn around self-care and wellness topics in the community forums, as well as reflect on your own self-care, wellness and goals through journaling and mood tracking. It has really cute interface too! 💖
i just downloaded this app to try out, i am a trans nonbinary gay person and i use he/they pronouns. i enjoyed the journalling and socializing aspects but when i went to edit my profile i found i could not use he as a pronoun. i understand the reasoning but to that reasoning i say you are intentionally excluding a group of people that are not wholly "men" - other nonbinary/gender nonconforming people who dont see pronouns or gender in the same light as you. ill have to delete the app given the inability for me to be seen and referred to as who i am despite the fact that this community is said to be built for people like me with similar experiences. unfortunate to see exclusion in an app that claims to be inclusive to people like me.

I love this app and with every social media app I’ve been trying to escape from — this feels like home. The community is supportive and it resonates with my whole vibe. A social media app without the pressure to be perfect or fake it til you make it mentality!
