## Community Viewer Description
Vision Link has developed a smartphone application that allows members of the public and local communities to monitor Vision Links solar assisted river level sensors on their smartphone and receive automatic flood warnings 24 hours a day.

The smartphone app automatically locates river level sensors nearest to the user's location and displays a list of available sensors to follow.

## Community Viewer Reviews in United Kingdom

### **--- "Unstable"
Our Swift Water Rescue team like to use this app but it has always been a bit to unstable and crashing. We can get a picture of what the sensors are reporting but do wish a little more effort and time to make it stable could be given. The previous version did have a better UI to be honest.
Still useful.

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
The creators have gave up
-- ggf56754, 2023-10-18

### ****- "No Longer Works"
Was a great App. Used to use it for monitoring river level for fishing but now seems that it doesn’t work.
No updates since early July. Such a shame

### ****- "Peace of mind… living next to a river with history!"
I live right next to The West Lyn river in North Devon which flooded and took lives in 1952. River levels change rapidly and it can turn into a raging torrent after prolonged heavy rain. This app is something I keep close at hand during those weather events.

### ***** "Up to date info on uk river levels"
I use this app for my river fishing and also I Co own a salt marsh, I am on the marsh weekly, this app is handy to see the river water levels as this has a massive impact on incoming tide heights. For instance a tide of about 28 foot and a normal river level, the high water would be at least 6 feet from coming over the grass, but a high river level would push the tide over 6 feet high above the grass, if you were still out there it would be life threatening. Highly recommend this app, you can see the current rise or fall and compare in a graph over the last month.

### *---- "Camera doesn’t work"
Council cut down the trees around the camera on Colebrook Road and it hasn’t worked since. Pretty useless piece of equipment really
-- brynmill17, 2021-01-24

### *---- "App not working"
Sent alert to my phone but could not access the cameras
-- Robfarman, 2021-01-20

### ***-- "Forgets sensors"
Have to re-enter them each time
-- Dave 123456, 2020-02-13

### ***** "Excellent App"
This is brilliant. Keeps me up to date with the floods in my area more or less in real-time. My area doesn’t have webcams, but the graphs are amazing. Thank you so much

### ***** "Leekbrook Vision Link Camera"
This is very helpful, it allows residents to monitor the brook levels along with near real-time images. We were away from home recently during high rainfall and it was helpful to monitor the graph and images from where we were.
