All the praise for keeping it free. -- Sheeeeeeeeseeeeeesh, 2024-11-23 ### *---- "5 year review - significant performance issues" Context: I’ve used this application prior to it’s acquisition by Elsevier. I should have purchased the atlas model when the opportunity wa present prior to the acquisition. It is what it is Problem : Signifiant lag and performance issues that require loading of the assets to animate motions. A source of internet appear to be required in order to simply have the application animate movements and motions of the muscles and joints. Overall, this application is a far cry from what it once was. Solution: Especially on the iPad Pro or any iPad with a sufficiently powered processor, the assets should be downloaded onto the iPad for seamless use of the application without delays or hiccups . Overall, very disappointing . Furthermore, the application FAILS to demonstrate all of the movements capable by particular muscles. For the amount of money Elsevier demands from this yearly license, the least they can do is provide accurate movements for their models. It was the gold standard in the past. Hopefully a competitor shows up, does it well and offers superior performance to this overpriced pos. It’s also filled with bloatware "courses" on anatomy.
