## Complete Music Reading Trainer Reviews in United States

### ***** "lol"
I love this app I have been looking for a app like this for a while
-- Briella Parker, 2025-04-06

### ***-- "Well Designed, but..."
In general, I am rather impressed with the application and how it can teach you to treat music using the app.

I paid for the app because it says in the description of the product that the microphone can be used so that the user can practice reading music on their instrument.

I understand that the microphone might not pick up everything, but I have repeatedly run into an issue where I keep hitting the correct note on my instrument (a mandolin) without the application recognizing it. The only way past it is for me to hit the wrong note. It seems that it is not having a problem with the microphone, but instead something going on with the software.

I reached out to the developers to ask them about the issue, and they quickly responded, which is a very positive thing. Unfortunately, their advice was not to use my instrument, but instead to use the application.

There are a great number of apps out there designed to help someone learn how to read music, and I thought this application's ability to detect the note being played on an instrument, set it apart from all the others. Sadly, that is not the case.
-- AriaSonata, 2025-03-06

### ***-- "Would like to see a grand staff on here!"
This would be the perfect app for piano sight reading too if there was a grand staff (treble clef above the bass clef) as if sight reading piano sheet music. I am also having trouble controlling the speed at which the notes move in the sight reading.
-- vainyme, 2024-06-22

### ***** "I wish I’d found it sooner."
I feel like I’ve wasted so much time trying to wrap my head around notation. This app is inexpensive and incredibly effective. Thank you!
-- NotgreatbutGettingbetter., 2024-01-07

### ***** "The best to learn reading"
This is the best application for learning piano and music notes more than any of the apps in this entire store. I truly love all the work you have done! I can finally play the piano without paying a yearly subscription.
-- RafoskyOsky, 2023-12-17

### ***** "I’m finally able to read music"
This app has been so great. I’ve tried other apps and flash cards but this is 100x better.
I’m focused on piano: I wonder if the app could also include chords one day.
-- Abcdefzyxwv, 2022-10-31

### **--- "Does not seem to work with MIDI virtual ports"
It seems like a good app, unfortunately it does not work with MIDI data from MidiGuitar 2, nor from MIDI Data from JamSynth , nor from MIDI data from A2M…….in essence it does not seem to recongnize any virtual port ( I also tried to create a bridge with Midiflow but again it does not show up as a MIDI output in Midiflow ). There is certainly a shortcoming in the code because other similar apps such as PianoNotes Pro seem to recognise any MIDI output you throw at it. So if you have an external controller it works ( I used it with a Yamaha Keyboard, an EWI and the Fishman TriplePlay Connect, and it recognises all of them ). I had a couple of mail exchanges with the developer but he took my original review personally and , either he is
-- Bonanote52, 2022-07-07

### ***** "Very good for My child!!!"
My child’s Music teacher for piano told her that she should use this app,and I think it is very good for her. It made such an impact on my child’s piano learning notes. I love watching my child use this and start learning more about notes.
Alicia
-- Mya Tokoph, 2022-02-06

### ***** "Great user interface"
This app has the best user interface of all the music note trainers I have tried. The training modes are good, and the progression is a good pace for me. I’m focused on piano, so I’m glad the other clefs are available, but not forced on me. I wish the app displayed the treble clef above the base clef when using both. I also wish it kept track of progress from one try to the next so I could see my improvement over time.
-- Annoyed55683, 2022-02-03

### *---- ":C"
The notes are confusing, and they are behind so I get really confused from it so I need to start over.
On piano.
