## Config EZ Reviews in United States

### *---- "No longer works"
This app no longer lets you sign in, nor can you register. The smart plug is now useless
-- Bmarkm2, 2023-11-30

### *---- "Unable to add new device or reset password"
I’ve been trying to re-add my wifi plug because it’s been unplugged for so long that the app doesn’t recognize when it’s plugged in and on anymore. I hard reset the device and the app refuses to acknowledge that my phone is connected to wifi. It won’t let me change the wifi network, either. (I thought redoing it would help). So I logged out of the app and now it won’t accept my password and I’ve tried 4x to request a password reset, but it refuses to send the email. It just sits there with the loading logo until my phone screen times out and turns the screen off. I’m so frustrated!
-- Haylee1997, 2023-08-10

### *---- "WON’T CONNECT - CAN’T EVEN CREATE A ACCOUNT!"
All it says is

Update user information error! Please wait and try again later!
-- The1TechGuru, 2023-02-06

### *---- "Run away"
Awful awful awful
-- SpinyNorman1, 2023-01-22

### *---- "Absolute crap"
This app hasn’t been updated in over 2 years. If yours is still enabled for use with Alexa, don’t disable it because it won’t reconnect again.
-- Corkscrewchaos, 2021-03-26

### *---- "Trash app and plugs"
Plugs rarely stay connected if by chance you get them paired. Currently can’t delete from app. I wish I could give ZERO stars.
-- Ninja please 006, 2021-01-22

### ***-- "All fixed"
My capstone outlets are working again. It took more than a few day, but they are up a running and following my echo command. Finally!
Star rating based on the amount of time and the fact that an update made things go so horribly wrong.
-- ColleenMPR, 2019-11-06

### *---- "This is the worse app"
This app is a joke, the devices worked great for about a week. Then suddenly like everyone else Alexa lost them tried to reconnect no such luck. I did a total reset took the skill off Alexa and deleted the app. Then went back to step 1. ALEXA WILL NOT FIND THEM, can not even get the skill to enable again on Alexa. So disappointed.
-- smithiemomma, 2019-10-24

### *---- "Stopped Working"
I installed two Capstone Smart plugs and configured them with Config EZ and Capstone HA apps. Originally they worked OK for a few days with the Amazon Alexa device and app. Now they have stopped working and I can’t make the apps link to the Alexa app anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled them but there is no link to the Alexa app or device anymore. Once again...”You get what you paid for.”
-- Edwinrl, 2019-10-24

### *---- "What happened?"
My plugs were doing fine when it was using the capstone app and now I have to use this app. My Alexa quit working and had to change to this app and now it will not find my plugs. It will still find it on Capstone. Was this an update? Put it back ASAP
