## ConnectMyPool Description
Imagine being able to control your AstralPool pool system anytime, anywhere. Now you can, with ConnectMyPool. This app, in combination with the Internet Gateway module, allows you to view and control your pool system from anywhere in the world. The available features of this app depend upon your pool system’s configuration, but include:

 •  View your pool’s current water temperature.
 •  View and change your heater’s set-point temperature.
 •  Turn on and off your pool equipment, including pumps, valves, blowers, and more.
 •  Turn on and off your pool lighting, and change their colours.
 •  Activate any of your customised Favourites.

Please note that this app works in tandem with the Internet Gateway module. This module MUST be installed in your pool system for this app to function. The module can be obtained from your pool installer or local AstralPool representative.

The Internet Gateway module acts as a bridge between your pool system and the internet. As such, it will require access to your home internet connection. The Internet Gateway can use either a wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) connection.

Terrible and laggy app and system, especially in 2025. Should not be sold in 2025 (especially for the price) when the system was clearly designed 15 years ago.

Given that there hasn’t been an update in 5years, I don’t expect this app will get any better.  As mentioned previously, the functionality is basic at best (you can’t adjust timers, see anything other than “ok/not ok” for the ORP or even see if the equipment is actually running 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️)  and the app certainly looks like it was last updated for iOS 13.  Since the only real thing you can do is turn on favorites, you are probably better off saving some $$ on the gateway and switching things on from the controller

Hasn’t been updated in 5 years. 
No useful features added - ever. 
Really limited functionality. You can turn it on, turn it off, or look at it. Thats about it. You can’t adjust the timers. You can’t set the chemical levels. To do anything meaningful x as in the above- you have to do it manually. I recently had a quote as I may have needed to replace the gateway. $2000 Australian dollars. Not worth the money to achieve, well, nothing really.

System does a great job but the app and integration in home automation systems is woeful. Please someone somewhere start making the app from the ground up and upgrade the firmware on the connect 10 units to work with the new app.

I agree with many others, this app is bad, clunky and unbelievably slow. Typical business model of a dominant seller of product in the market to not offer any leading in the app, why would you need to, you have bought your overpriced pool equipment and there is nothing more.

### *---- "Sluggish and in need of an update"
The mobile app platform is incredibly out of date and ready for a revamp. Platform is sluggish and slow, and just a HTML wrapper. 

For a platform that is still being sold and marketed by the pool industry, it is in serious need of modernisation. 

The backend platform to connect equipment is robust, but the app has not aged well, nor had any investment in atleast 4-5 years.
