## Contacts Description
With Contacts on iOS, iPadOS and macOS, you can store and manage your and other’s contact information, birthdays, Contact Posters and more. Easily connect with your contacts with Mail, Messages, Phone or FaceTime. Or instantly share your Contact Poster and your number or email address with someone new through NameDrop on iPhone and Apple Watch.

Manage Your Contacts
Easily add people to your contacts, and sync their contact information across all your devices with iCloud, Microsoft Exchange, Google and other syncing services. If your contacts choose to, you can automatically get updates to their Contact Poster through Messages, Phone and FaceTime as well.

Get Connected Quickly
When you need a contact’s information, you can search to find who you’re looking for. You can then quickly message, call, FaceTime, email or even Apple Pay them. If you add their social profile to their contact card, you can jump to it with a tap. And if you add their birthday, you’ll also see it in Calendar so you never miss it.

Store Your Personal Information
Create a My Card in Contacts to store your own contact information including your phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses and more. You can then use the information in your My Card to use Autofill to instantly complete forms online or in apps across iOS, iPadOS and macOS.

Customise Your Contact Poster
Create a customised poster to represent yourself when you connect with others using Messages, Phone and FaceTime. Choose from various treatments for photos, Memoji and your name, and choose to automatically share it with your contacts or be asked every time before you share.

Share your Contact with NameDrop
Exchange contact information with someone new by simply bringing your iPhone near their iPhone or Apple Watch. Your name and Contact Poster are automatically included every time, and you can select the phone number or email address you want to share from your My Card along with it.

Use Contacts on Apple Watch
Select people from your contacts to use as a complication on your watch face for easy access, and quickly connect with them through Messages, Phone or Mail right from your wrist. You can also create new contacts and customise existing contacts, or exchange contact information with someone new using NameDrop with their iPhone or Apple Watch.

The widgets stopped working unfortunately, besides that I think it works perfectly. If you’re having problem with duplicate contacts then you probably have the ICloud contacts saved as well as them saved on the device. besides that, please fix the Widget!!

I have been finding this app quite useful to use, however I would like to suggest it being possible for there to no longer be two separate “contacts” and “phone” apps, it being possible to no longer have verification code included as an option when adding new contact as unfortunately doesn’t appear to work, it being possible to have different types of anniversaries listed when adding date, it being possible to include even more related name options to choose from including acquaintance and even different types of friendships as well as some of the options possibly no longer being included (mother-in-law or stepmother, father-in-law or stepfather, daughter-in-law or stepdaughter, son-in-law or stepson, cousin or sibling’s child, niece or cousin, nephew or cousin, grandchild or sibling’s child, granddaughter or niece, grandson or nephew, great-grandchild or sibling’s grandchild, daughter-in-law or sister in-law, son-in-law or brother-in-law).

Contacts is so easy and simple to use and it means you can easily add freind’s numbers and then if you go on WhatsApp it will tell you if they are on WhatsApp and ect which is very helpful. And I can add the address and birthday of my friends. And you don’t need WiFi so if I’m offline and make a friend I can  add their number.

I had this issue with my old phone none of my contacts were saved and when I went to put my contacts back in again with names it kicks me of app i have tried to fix it so many times i have watched multiple videos and updated my phone constantly. I recently got a new iphone and thought the problem would be fixed but again its still happening…its really annoying to call anyone now!

What should be the most simple problem free app always glitches with the contact list jumping about, or when in a contact their info keeps ‘scrolling’ open like it’s constantly refreshing? Can I safely delete the app and reinstall if I’m backed up to iCloud? Any advice appreciated.

When I click on a contacts icon I want my contacts. I do not want a page that says edit, add list and then lists. 
The pretty picture of a nice old style physical contact book is nothing like it. First page needs to be the a-z index.

There have been several occasions when important addresses get wiped out.  The  most recent incident was the worst with the addresses of several relatives and old friends gone missing.  For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend this as reliable for recording  addresses.
